First Session: Broen

That was a hell of a look, and Valli definitely flinched at the sudden change of demeanor, leaning ever so slightly back into his seat.

Oh dear. He could be... scary.

"Going at her aggressively isn't likely to improve your situation. It will just put her on the defensive, and you won't get anything done. If you want to cut her off, cut her off, but meeting her fight with fight of your own isn't going to help things. If you want to try and repair things, sit her down when you aren't fighting, and explain to her how you feel about things."

Truthfully, from what Broen had said Valli wasn't sure it was going to work - but it was important to try, to extend the olive branch. Never attribute to malice what could be explained by ignorance.

With all the time it had taken to go through Broen's history, they were very near the end of their session anyway. Broen looked exhausted, and Valli gave him what he hoped would be a comforting smile as he got up.

"Of course. You can call a session any time we like, but we were near time anyway. It's normal to feel exhausted after a session, especially the first few times, so please take that rest."
