Cecil Grey Lovette was an international celebrity. And as a big, international celebrity, he got a lot of perks — bigger pays, bigger jobs, expensive presents and loving fans all over the globe. Of course, what few people knew was that it wasn't all that glamorous. Fame came at a heavy price. There were stalkers and haters aplenty, to the point that some wanted to hurt him, and he essentially gave up his own personal privacy.

Case in point: Cecil Grey Lovette, walking alone in the LuxTV station, sipping his coffee and checking his phone e-mail. At a distance, the ominous sound of footsteps and chattering like an approaching enemy army. Cecil, defenseless, chose the fleeing option, not knowing that he was trapped. He walked back where he came from...

...only to be greeted by a crowd of fangirls.

"Is that Cecil Lovette!?!?"

It happened so quick. The next thing he knew, he was surrounded. The coffee would've spilled if it wasn't snatched so abruptly from his hand to be sold, as he supposed, on eBay for $200. Cecil's smile said "I love all my fans!" while his eyes screamed "help me." He scanned the area for any of the station guards. Where were those slobs?

Aedan pulled at the collar of his new uniform, he needed a job, but did it require a uniform. He checked his tazer, he found it amusing that they even gave him the thing, the people here were werewolves and demi-gods, what bloody hell was this thing going to do. He adjusted his sunglasses, as he rounded a corner he found a mob of civilians, surrounding Cecil. Aedan didn't care for the guy, but it was his, "Allright people, back off," he went to pull one guy away, he turned snarling with fang, Aedan released a burst of energy in his face, it was nothing just a little flash to temporarily blind him, he quickly ran off his hands covering his eyes. He stuck his arm into the center of the group, "enogh," he released a second more potent burst directed to the sides, it devided the mob shoving them to the sides, they were shaken but unhurt. He looked to Cicil, "you ok sir."

When the mob was divided, Cecil sighed in relief and made his way through it. He, of course, smiled and waved at them as he went, but he was just glad it was done and over with. He went inside a studio. It wasn't exactly empty; people were setting up for the next show, so casuals and tour groups weren't allowed in.

Cecil peeked out of the door to check if the guard who saved his ass was around. When he caught sight of him, he beckoned him inside.

"Hey, you. You really saved me back there." He checked the nametag, smiling. "Drago, huh? I've never seen you around here before. First day at the job?"

Aedan nodded, "I just started," he pushed his slipping sungless back up. Sense a lot of the station's equipment was light sensitive he had to wear the glasses to cover the glow of his eyes. "Are you ok sir? There was quite a few of them." Aedan didn't care for Cecil, he was a spoiled rich kid, but it was his job to protect him and the other employees of the station. "There should have been more guards here."

Cecil laughed, a little nervously. "Yeah, I'm alright. I've been in the business a long time. I know how to talk to fans, but that doesn't mean it doesn't get bloody tiring especially when I'm on my coffee break."

He nodded in agreement. Truth be told, he was getting nervous around the guy. His gut was saying that Drago was being polite through his teeth, and he had a very low opinion of him even though he was known for treating everyone with the utmost respect and kindness. Jesus. What did he do wrong? He hoped he could win over him sometime. He didn't like being negatively judged right off the bat because of his fame.

"You're right. There usually is, but recently there have been budget cuts to pour employee money to new actors and such. I think the head of employee management changed, too, so I didn't even realize we were doing tour groups this early! They're usually around noon at the very least." He offered a handshake, charming celebrity smile on his face. "Cecil Grey Lovette. It's good to meet you. What are your usual routes at the station? Do you know?"

He shook his hand, "Aedan Drago sir, I normally have the east corridors, but I tend to get sent to do different areas." He cleared his throat, "I think the security chief is uncertain what to do with me, I got hired under slightly....unusual circumstances." If by unusual, he meant he put a werewolf mugger into a coma, in front of the station.

Aedan didn't hate Cecil, it's just Aedan developed a dislike for the rich and upper-class as a kid, but he'd give Cecil a fair chance. "If you need any thing sir I'm here."

"That sounds... odd." Cecil hummed thoughtfully, rubbing his chin. "Hey, it's good to meet you. I have a few couple hours before filming of my show starts. Let's go talk to your boss about it, get things cleared up."

Actors working with the crew this closely wasn't really the standard, but when Cecil found a problem, he wanted to go solve it. He gestured for Aedan to follow him to the elevator. The upper floors should have answers.

"You know, technically, this station's going to be mine when my dad passes away. Management's not going to say no to me." He nodded, determined. He smiled at Aedan. "You new at the island?"

He listened as Cecil offered to clear things up with the security chief. He nodded, "that would be appreciated." He followed Cecil as they made there way up to the upper station.

He nodded as he explained that he would get the station when his father dies. Then he asked him how long he'd been on the island, "I've been here almost a month sir." He had to admit Cecil seemed nice.

"Ahh. Well, I'm glad you're making a good use of your time here. You look young. High school? College? Either way, jobs are a good way of discovering what you want to do in the future, right?" He nodded. The elevator made a ding noise. Cecil stepped out, ready to open the door. After some consideration, he realized administration wouldn't appreciate him bring in a casual, so he told Aedan to "wait here."

Cecil stepped in. What followed was a lengthy conversation with his dad, his dad's hot secretary, and administration about budget cuts, not hiring more guards, cost effectiveness, blah blah. He didn't get much of a say, but he walked out to Aedan, slight befuddlement in his face, and said, "Well... uh. You're my bodyguard in the station now, if that's something you want. Your chief could fill you in on more details."

He nodded along as he asked his age, "I'm 16 sir," but it seemed liked he didn't hear. He left entering an office. Aedan waited, popping a piece of nicotine gum in as he did, he'd started smoking years ago, anytime someone asked about it he'd tell them another guard gave it to him, that wasn't technically true.

Cecil returned after a few moments and made the announcement that he could be his new bodyguard. He cocked his head genuinely surprised. "Well I could use the money, but why would they want a sixteen year old protecting you." He knew it was probably because of the werewolf incident, but he wanted to hear Cecil's opinion.
