Advanced Applications of Magic for the Medical Field
A new class is available for college students in room 403. Interested students are invited to attend the first class this Tuesday at 10:30am. Please come prepared to take notes.
The flyer was posted on the wall in the gymnasium the previous week. Pacing the empty lecture hall nervously, Quin fidgeted at the podium at the front of the classroom. Did anyone notice? He thought nervously. What if nobody shows up? Will I need to find a new subject to teach? Or what if there's too many people who were interested? Can I move to a larger classroom? Quin looked up at the lecture hall, which was a medium-sized room that could easily fit a class of 20, maybe 30. Okay, I'm getting overconfident, he thought to himself. Really, he didn't know what to expect at this school. He still had to get used to the community he'd seen on Manta Carlos. He'd gone to school to be a doctor, and here he was preparing to talk about magic and healing.
I've certainly changed directions the last few years, haven't I? Quin gazed out the window absently. He fussed with a stack of notes at the podium, his mind mulling over the lecture he planned to give. Well, I guess it's too late to turn back. I'm here and this is my world too, I suppose.
Nothing to it now but to wait for students to arrive.
