Alice Rose sat outside the admissions office trying to get her bearings. It was her first day at a new school and this was causing her to stress more than normal. She had been hoping to maybe get a tour around but, found that she missed the last one by a couple of minutes. glancing down at the map she had picked up earlier she looked at it for about 5 - 10 minutes locating the more important locations.

Ok so there's the library, the sports field, and there are the dorms!

Alice perked up at having found the dorms and animated her suitcase as she headed out to find her dorm. "So my dorm is 3456? Alright then." she glanced down and read out he dorm shed been given. In doing so, however, she bumped into some one who was walking back to the admissions office. This knocked her down and she apologized as she got up.

"Oh! Sorry I wasn't looking."

Alice said as she dusted her self off. Glancing upward at this new stranger

RE: First day. (OPEN)

Siri was still fairly new to the Academy herself. However, it hadn't taken her very long to make herself at home in the wildly unfamiliar setting. The girl was just a human with no supernatural powers whatsoever. Some people wondered what she was even doing there. However, her brilliance in class and her knowledge of the unusual helped her blend in. It's not like she had ever fit into a normal setting particularly well. This school was, after all, well-suited for someone with her skills and eccentricities.

However, making friends with her current peers was a little different than making friends with the average kids in her age group back home. Everyone had their own bizarre gifts and quirks. Literally everyone that surrounded her was different in one way or another. So, getting to know people was in a different ballpark. Not only did she have to learn their personalities, but also she had to learn exactly what they were capable of for her own purposes that were yet to be determined.

Either way, Siri found everyone interesting. Even the smaller classmates who accidentally bumped into her. To be fair, the she hadn't been watching and apparently this stranger wasn't either. She didn't fall herself, though she did take about two steps back to get a better train of thought on what had just happened. When the stranger spoke, Siri was quick to laughter in response.

"That's two of us, so there's no need for an apology, yeah? A collision was probable," she decided before holding out a hand. "And I don't think we've met! Are you lost?"

"That’s two of us, so there’s no need for an apology, yeah? A collision was probable, And I don’t think we’ve met! Are you lost?"

Alice looked up at the stranger who was holding her hand out, which she used to help pull herself up off the floor. After dusting herself off and grabbing her suit case she decided a introduction was in order.

Well, I wouldn't have expected you to see me, seeing as I'm smaller than you. I'm Alice if your wondering, and you are?"

She could tell this stranger was about as new as her judging by her reaction. However she was hoping this stranger didn't have any crazy powers that caused them to burn stuff for fun but, regardless she still wanted to make this stranger one of her friends. Having to move to the school really put a strain on her with her desire to get to know everyone.

RE: First day. (OPEN)

Lost was apparently a nonissue, which was good. Well, sort of. In a way. What Siri took note of was the suitcase the girl picked up after she stood from the ground. She stared at it while the other girl talked, taking in details that would probably never matter again after this first encounter aside from the fact that this person could have been brand new. She could have also been just leaving or switching rooms, but new students didn't seem uncommon. What with the academy digging up special individuals throughout the year, the idea of a school year at all seemed inconsistent. But her train of thought wasn't meant to focus on how the school could remodel their enrollment so much as it was focused on the person in front of her now.

The girl was indeed smaller, but not so small for it to be excusable really. It wasn't as if Siri herself was extraordinarily tall. "You're..." She paused and did a quick circle around the girl, looking her up and down. "I'd say you're approximately seven and a half centimeters shorter, so I can't say the difference is much of a reason to miss you completely. I just wasn't paying attention." There was a shrug given, willing to call out her faults as she saw them. She didn't like making excuse that couldn't make sense unless the time actually called for some ridiculous lies.

Moving past that, she still smiled. "My name is Sigrid, but most people call me Siri. But you can call me whatever, really, I don't mind." She then pointed out the suitcase that the other girl was holding. "Are you new?"

RE: First day. (OPEN)

"Are you new?"

"Yes, actually. I just arrived a little bit ago on the first boat. No doubt there will be more boats on the way."

Alice placed her suitcase down and quickly animated it, before returning to Siri. Of course there were going to be more more questions like this last one but she didn't really mind. Though it was interesting as to what her powers were, Alice didn't really care. As long as it wasn't too crazy of a power. On the boat ride over she had heard of people who burned stuff for fun with their powers. Which as much as she hated it, terrified her. She had learned the strangers name though. Siri. Despite the fact she know this was their first time meeting she couldn't shake the feeling she knew her from somewhere though she couldn't put her finger on it. Not that it mattered though.

Well it's nice to meet you Siri. But I should get going. But umm see you around. BYE!

And with that she headed off. It didn't take long for Alice to find her room and even less time to get every thing sorted out and exactly how she wanted it. After settling in she decided to rest up as she had a big day coming up. Frist real day at her new school and the day when she meets all her teachers. So she wanted to make sure she wasn't exhausted when went to her classes. She quickly glanced over the schedule she had been given before settling in and drifting off to sleep.
