It seemed as if he stopped in mid-step. He just stopped; it was as if it was a reflex. But this time, he provided no answer, and only stared at her. Was she mistakening him for Dari? His brother had the uncontrollable powers, not him.

"What if I can?" Dare risked this answer; he knew that he could deal with the pain, and it wouldn't do if he didn't. He was used to it, it was all he could think of.

"THen why would you be in here practicing as you say?" She stated it more as an anwser, not a question. Eyes held his only for a few short moments before finally she looked downwards.

She didnt want this boy, who she didnt even know, to hurt himself like he would do in the end. He was already doing so, though it wasnt as bad as it could probably get...yet. Even though Tamesis belive she had no powers she though she could at least help him.

Myth had been walking through the empty rooms on the third floor seeking solitude, when the sound of arguing voices drifted past. Turning to investigate, he quickly found an open door where a girl was blocking a boys path. Looking in the room beyond it seemed that the boy had been playing with fire.\

"She's right you know, playing with fire even if you have a power over it is dangerous and dumb, and hurting yourself or someone else is even worse. Trust me, if you don't take precautions you will eventually kill yourself, or those closest to you." Myth's voice sounded dead, as he relived those memories, yes playing with fire was the deadliest thing you could do, someone always go burnt.

"I suggest you stop taking such risks, or I WILL stop you, to save you."

Myth spread his arms to his side, and called upon his own powers. Fire began to flow down his arms, gathering into a giant ball of flame in each hand.

"You should know that when you play with fire someone always get burned, don't force me to make that person you.

Dare was almost completely frozen in his place, frowning. He hadn't even done anything wrong and here someone was about to go kill him. They didn't know about him, the torture he went through; in fact, he took it greatly as experience. He wouldn't be here had not he'd been hurt all his life...

"There's no limit to perfecting a power," he said, matter-of-factly. He rolled his eyes at the other male's comments. "I wasn't playing with fire, as you said I was. I wasn't playing with fire."

He had no idea why they were reprimanded him; saying that he shouldn't play with power, which he had absolute control over it. But that's how the world probably worked. Why would he care if he got hurt? He always did, and always would.

"What risks? I have no risks; I can completely control my powers."

'I know you never care about getting hurt from yourself, but it's not bad to have people care about you, I guess.'

'And your meaning?'

Dari quieted after, knowing that his brother wasn't in a good mood; then again, he never was. It wasn't exactly bad to have him not exactly happy, but he didn't think he should enjoy arguing even more when there was already two people talking to him.

Without a reply, Dare stood dazed, bringing up his deep brown eyes to contact with both of them, "Just. Just let me through."

Hearing the boy behind her she jumped slightly, but only listened for a few moments before shaking her head, causing her hair to fall like a curtain around her.

"Please dont hurt him.." She asked and pulled her hand away from blocking him, rather not keep him where this other boy could hurt him.

Eyes were downwards when his brown eyes looked at them, not meeting anyones eyes. She didnt want the boy hurt, epecially if she helped cause it.

He walked past her without a word, his pace increasing into a jog, and then into a run. He'd get as far away from the other fire-weilder as possible in the short amount of time he could. Which unfortunately wasn't short.

And then, he took a turn, and sprinted down the stairs.

'You're going to break your bones if you go any faster.'

"The fool...I wouldn't hurt him, not if I didn't have to, I was trying to make him realize that its dangerous. Trust me, when he sees everything he cares about be consumed by a fire of his making he'll understand, when it is two late."

Myth walked over to a nearby window and pulled it open. Pulling off his shirt he gripped it in his one hand while turning to the girl.

"If you know what is best for you don't get close to those who cause pain in the name of perfecting their power, when they burn up what they care for you might get caught in the flame as well."

Myth then threw himself through the window, dropping toward the ground below, before his wings burst from his back. With a strong downward thrust followed by hi steady rythmatic beats, he quickly propelled himself away from the school.
