He'd go to say something, stopping himself and looking at her a moment. "I...I don't know exactly," he'd say with a sigh, "maybe I needed more time to think."

Rowan would go quiet for a moment as he thought. "Maybe....maybe a piece of me should be removed.....," he'd fidget as the voices started to kick in.

Then bandaged boy would sigh and shrug. "We all have something that needs to be fixed....don't we?"

He'd snort. "I don't........I don't know if I even have one anymore," he'd say with a sigh. "Plus he said he deals with other things....so did the others....so may not even come to that."

Rowan would rub the back of head. "Sometimes......sometimes it does feel like....in order to fix it....I may have to break it," he'd say with a shrug.

"And if I can get the wish to help my friends......and I be the only way to pay...," he'd shrug. "Maybe it'd be worth it," he'd flinch a tiny bit when the voices kicked it, she'd pick up on his emotions becoming more intense.

"You can tell?" he'd ask, squinting a bit, "can you......can you see it?" He hadn't considering that someone could possibly just see other people's souls. "What.....what's it like? What do you see?"

He'd tilt his head when she said she could grant wishes. "You can grant wishes?" he'd ask, "what kind of wishes?"

Rowan would stand up, forgetting about the cards they'd slide off. "What do they usually cost?" he'd ask, leaning over and picking up the cards.

"Yeah.......I guessed as much," he'd offer her a small smile when she helped him with the cards. "Its the eldritch.....or part of one? I don't know, maybe its just a full one now," he'd shrug.

"Its.....its a long story," he'd run his hand through his hair. "Me and some friends had some encounters with an eldritch, it changed us all in some way." He'd tap the side of his head with a bitter laugh, "mine says things."

He'd look at her a moment. "Could you remove an elder god from a human soul?" he'd ask. "Could you put the pieces back together....make me....not this anymore?"

"Its in my head, says things to me," he'd say with sigh. "Not good things.....hearing day in, day out....it waking me up at night," he'd close his eyes a moment. "It's....," he'd shrug, "it's a thing."

His eyes would slowly open when asked how he first encountered it. "It........it killed my parents," he went quiet for a moment there.

Rowan would look at her. "After that me and my friends worked together.....we killed it, and....we were changed by it."
