Kasai sniffed at the person's hair. It smelled nice. Kasai didn't know what the person did but they'd been sitting at this desk for a while, occasionally giving her a quick scratch behind the ears. The little fluffball batted at loose strands of hair for a while, sitting on the back of the person's chair. Every now and then Kasai would attempt to catch a piece in her mouth, most often failing but sometimes managing to catch one. The hair tasted good too. Not as good as tomatoes for sure, but it still tasted good.
Kasai wasn't entirely sure how she got there. First she was happily pouncing on skittering leaves in the street, then this giant metal bug nearly squished her and she ran off. Some time between when she fell asleep in a round thing with a water spout and when she woke up Kasai had been moved into this warm fuffy bed a little too big for her. It was nice here and all, but they kept trying to lock her in the room with all the big scary noisy things. Kasai kept escaping there so she could play with the people out in the front lobby. As long as she didn't go near the doors it looked like they'd leave her to her own devices.
