When Tristan asked Varvara the question she considered it carefully, never taking her hand out of Tristan's. She wanted to be as honest with him as possible, it was the least she could do. Least she wanted to do.
"Well, I do quite enjoy eating new things, learning new things. As you know in my previous life I was not that informed either, so I still find new experiences quite exhilarating."
Varvara smiled at Tristan, excited and happy.
"I enjoy spending time with you, naturally. I enjoy talking to people, even not as pleasant ones. I know people are not honest, not with each other or themselves, so I wish to know what is underneath. People are fascinating like that."
Varvara went a bit serious for a while.
"What I used to not enjoy was my immortality, my current way of being. I was terrified of all the time before me. But now I think there are people worth living eternally for."
Varvara squeezed Tristan's hand as she said it, smiling at him gratefully.
"And I really enjoy watching netflix! And now that I can read better I have noticed I enjoy reading books to some extent. At least ones with lots of pictures."
Tristan asked Varvara yet another question, and this one made her a little confused. They had been kissing each other on the cheek for quite some time, why ask now? But as Varvara wondered this what Tristan meant dawned to her. And she really felt like blushing. Instead she nervously swiped some of her escaped hair behind her ear.
"I..You...Yes."
Varvara slowly smiled gently at Tristan, turning her head towards him.
"Yes you can."
