When Tristan asked Varvara the question she considered it carefully, never taking her hand out of Tristan's. She wanted to be as honest with him as possible, it was the least she could do. Least she wanted to do.
"Well, I do quite enjoy eating new things, learning new things. As you know in my previous life I was not that informed either, so I still find new experiences quite exhilarating."
Varvara smiled at Tristan, excited and happy.
"I enjoy spending time with you, naturally. I enjoy talking to people, even not as pleasant ones. I know people are not honest, not with each other or themselves, so I wish to know what is underneath. People are fascinating like that."
Varvara went a bit serious for a while.
"What I used to not enjoy was my immortality, my current way of being. I was terrified of all the time before me. But now I think there are people worth living eternally for."
Varvara squeezed Tristan's hand as she said it, smiling at him gratefully.
"And I really enjoy watching netflix! And now that I can read better I have noticed I enjoy reading books to some extent. At least ones with lots of pictures."

Tristan asked Varvara yet another question, and this one made her a little confused. They had been kissing each other on the cheek for quite some time, why ask now? But as Varvara wondered this what Tristan meant dawned to her. And she really felt like blushing. Instead she nervously swiped some of her escaped hair behind her ear.
"I..You...Yes."
Varvara slowly smiled gently at Tristan, turning her head towards him.
"Yes you can."

Gently scooting right against her, he'd wrap his arm around her, he had no experience in this, but he'd do his best. Looking at her, his cheeks a dark purple blush, he wasn't sure how to exactly go about it, so he'd just do it. Leaning up, he'd gently kiss her.

Tristan would hold the kiss a bit longer before ending it, he was incredibly embarrassed but he had a smile on his face. "T-thank you," his tail found its way, gently wrapping around both of them. Yes he was very much enjoying this date, enjoying being with her.

Looking back to her, he'd give her a second shorter kiss, probably a little awkward because of the height difference bit that's ok. He'd continue to smile, his blush never fading, his mind racing a little, he was happy, with feeling of warmth flowing through him.

Varvara had not informed Tristan of this but she had been kissed, truly kissed, before. In her previous life there had been many eager suitors and Varvara had accepted some of them, done these kinds of things with them. But as Varvara closed her eyes and felt Trista's lips on hers it was something completely new.

Varvara didn't even notice his inexperience or their height difference, her heart was beating too fast and her thoughts were too loud. From instinct maybe Varvara tilted her head slightly to make her lips more accessible, and when Tristan ended the kiss she felt a tiny twinge of disappointment. But as she felt Tristan's tail around her a warmth spread inside her, and she smiled.

There was a glow on Varvara's face and eyes and she chuckled a bit when Tristan thanked her for whatever reason.
"I am not quite sure for the reason you thank me, but you are very welcome."
Varvara said gently and wanted to kiss Tristan again, to the cheek or lips. But he beat her to it when Tristan yet again pressed his lips on Varvara's. The kiss was shorter this time, and Varvara noticed their height difference. But she didn't care about that.

"Tristan, who on earth are you?"
Varvara murmured as she lightly touched Tristan's cheek, which was dark purple. There had never been anyone, not in this life or the last, who held so much presence in Varvara. Varvara gladly gave away presence in her, and she held many people dear. But with Tristan it was different. So very different.

He'd tilt his head at the question, who was he, that was an odd but interesting question, "perhaps.....I don't know." The young man hummed a little in thought, he'd always been a slave, a freak, never truly treated like a person.

"Maybe the island will help me find out," he didn't have a lot of positive development in his life, he was still young so he had time to make up for this face. "I'll discover it I suppose," his tail would sway slowly behind him as they spoke.

Turning back to her, he'd give her another gentle kiss, "thank you Varvara, you've been kind, and I enjoy being with you." Still blushing as expected, he had a grateful smile as well.

Varvara snapped out of her daze a bit when Tristan answered the question she had asked absently. She chuckled a bit and turned to look around a bit. They were in a really public place, and though there were other couples around Varvara wasn't completely sure if what they were doing was that appropriate. Well, she didn't care that much at this moment. Varvara turned to look at Tristan again and smiled gently.
"I will help you discover it as well."

Varvara answered to the gentle kiss Tristan gave her, she really enjoyed this kind of kissing as well. She was filled with pleasant warmth.
"You've been kind to me as well, thank you. I enjoy being with you as well."
Varvara grinned a bit as she reached and picked up a snack she hadn't completely finished yet. They were peanuts covered with caramel and chocolate.
"I think it would be such a shame not to finish all these treats we bought. Don't you?"
Varvara popped one peanut into her mouth and scooted a bit so she sat right next to Tristan, side by side with him.
