Zora walked towards the apartment complex, where supposedly the people from Halcyon were been lodged, with Jude and Broen. She was glad to have the two accompanying her, during the rather short walk from the cafe where they had been, to the park where they'd wait for her.
From there, Zora followed Jude's precise indications and found the building she was supposedly searching for. Letting herself in through the glass doors, she found the directory to be exactly where Jude told her it probably would be. Thankful for that, she quickly scanned it until she found the name she was looking for, Crawford, Frederick, Apartment 7C.
Stepping back, Zora looked around the lobby and spotted, not only the elevators, stairwell doors, but a drinking fountain too. Remembering Broen's advice, Zora went over and removed the locket she was wearing around her neck. The locket would not hold much water, maybe 2 or 3 drops, but enough she surmised to check whether her powers were still on or not. Filling the compartment, she carefully closed it, shook it a few times and saw no water was leaking out. Satisfied, Zora put back on the necklace, straightened it and then decided to have a long drink of water just in case she needed to use her magic.
When she was done preparing herself, Zora smoothed her skirt, checked her shoes and hand bag - more out of nervousness - and hit the button that would take her up to the floor where Broen's father was supposedly living now. Once on the seventh floor, Zora walked down the long corridor, very aware of how quiet everything was .. only the sound of a muffled TV could be heard from an apartment down the hall.
Finding 7C without any problems, Zora stopped, listened and looked at the door for a second, wondering if he was home even, and then, almost hesitantly, rang the doorbell and gave the door a little knock too as her hand went up to her locket and gripped it almost unconsciously.
