Rida, hated this place. It was surrounded by freaks, how could her parents send her here? Why couldn't she stay home to learn the use of her powers, she didn't need this pathetic school full of vermin. They were everywhere, there was nowhere for her to go, some tried to talk to her today, they asked what her powers were, she, though, didn't tell them, why would she? Instead she shoved it into their faces, calling them filth that need to be clean, and other insults worse.

Here, in the towers. Though, this one she came in, was actually cleaned, it was not dirty except for some dirt here and there, but she didn't truly mind, she was away from the creatures, wasn't she? Then she was fine, no need to worry.

Ridasael, sat against a wall, her legs brought up to her, and a notebook on them, and a pen in her hand, and quickly she wrote, making a story, she was always fond of writing, and it took her mind of the mutants here, her mind was far away, deep into her story.

Geoff was happily shooting fire out of one of the tower windows when he heard a person come nearby. He slowly turned his head toward the girl and stared intently at her for a moment before going back to looking outside. He shot fire out some more, and was sure the girl could hear the flames crackle before they disappeared.

After another five minutes, he slowly forced his wicked looking grin off his face and turned toward the girl. Walking over, he leaned his shoulder against the wall above her. "Hi."

She heard the fire and stuff, and grimaced when she did, after a while of doing her best to ignore the mutant, she continued to write. When she heard him come over, and said hi, she suddenly closed her notebook and looked up at him, hatred clear in her eyes, she was unable to hide, she was never good at keeping them calm.

Forcing herself not to say some snotty comment, she managed to say only one word, in a calmish tone. "Hi......" Was all she said. Filth, she thought.

Geoff knew she didn't want him there, so concealing an evil grin, sat down beside her. "What're you writing about?"

Rida's hand twitched one when he sat down, anger flashing through her already angered gaze. She looked at him, glaring. "What I write is my own business, not some freaks." She snarled.

Geoff, suddenly angered beyond words--something that oddly didn't happen very often--and, not thinking, grabbed her jaw in a strong hold. "I'm am not 'some freak'!" He growled in a deadly tone, jerking her head with each word.

When he grabbed her, she let out a cry of surprise, and her notebook, and pen fell, and she whimpered in pain, as he spoke and jerked her head. At first, she didn't know what to do, but then, used her powers, something she didn't want to do, but, she hit the boy with a bolt of invisible energy, and then again with a purple looking bolt.

"Don't you dare touch me!" She snapped, now standing.

As the bolts zapped him, Geoff julted and felt inergy go through him. His hand let go of her face and blinked. Once the energy stopped, he stared up at him.

Oddly, great remorse and regret swept over him and he shook his head at her. Gulping, he forced out, "I'm s-sorry...." He knew it probably wouldn't help though.

Slowly, he stood and kept against he wall.

Rida watched him, and felt a little guilty using her powers against him, but he had hurt her, and she would never allow anyone do that to her, though, it was her fault she called him a freak, she felt slightly guilty about that. She stood there, taking a deep breath, and her eyes calmed.

She felt like saying something, but she kept her mouth closed, not knowing if there was something to say. She bit her lip, and looked down.

Geoff reached out to lift her face back up, but his hand froze mid-way. He stared at her for a moment before moving his head to the side to look at her jaw.

He gasped and his eyes widened. Now he wouldn't forgive himself. Shaking his head, he tried to apologize again but it didn't come out.
