Neon breathed in relief the moment he was able to assess that everything went well announced with a smile that broke the serious expression: "Data transfer completed, sending wake-up signal, running simple verification and... Done. Now we need to see the results from you.", he wasn't concerned if the towel were to slip, just observed how KC's body was responding to it.

He whistled joyfully, withdrawing all the digital silk and packing the routers. "Looks like you got the hang of it really fast.", once Neon had the now repackaged routers back in bag, "Too bad I don't get to do the test drive, after all a promise is a promise, right?"

"Even if I was willing to let you take me for a spin, you wouldn't be the first one to get to test out the new features anyway," KC said, reaching around to grab her tail. She pulled hard on it, watching it stretch out like a rubber band with growing excitement. With a look of abject inspiration, she moved her tail to flex into a heart shape - a maneuver that with a normal tail would have broken a joint.

"Daddy gets first crack at stress testing his new toys. But... if you really wanna have a go at me I will put in that good word for you. Just don't simp too hard and don't be too upset if he tells you no."

He snickered at her playing with her tail, even forgetting to react to the response, just saying "Congratulations, you now have cartoon physics! At least when it comes to anatomy." amidst a chuckle. "Don't worry much, again I want to talk with him about something else. So, even if he gave you the okay, I'd still like to get to know him first and foremost. But for now, my visit here is done.", he replied with a proud smug, "Kassie, whenever you need help for anything, let me know, ok?"

KC shook her head and laughed a bit, walking over to Neon and patting him affectionately on the cheek. "Honestly the two of you probably have nothing in common, but if you want to try being friends with Daddy I can't stop you."

She headed for the door next, swinging her hips enthusiastically as she did: this had turned out better than expected and she could not wait to see how Hadley reacted to her new features. She stopped though before opening the door, turning and giving Neon the first genuine, non-sarcastic smile she had ever thrown his way in the short time they'd known each other. "Thanks though. Really. If it weren't for you, I'd still be waiting on this, itching to move forward."

He liked seeing her this happy, his own smile being in response to KC's as he walked to the door. "I can tell that much. For now, I bid farewell, until we are to meet again.", and with a respectful bow, Neon made his leave. Once he was far enough, he took a brief glance at the USB stick, before resting it within his pockets again. "Elasticity, eh... That gives myself some ideas.", he could just muse things for now, but maybe one day he could apply it to himself?
