Private Feeling a Bit Wiggly

Aura didnt necessarily dislike doctors. She'd certainly been around them enough to lose the anxiety some people tended to get about going to see one. She was though fairly nervous about the reason she was going. Something definitely wasn't right- she didnt typically get sick. In fact as far as she knew she couldnt catch any diseases because her body burned them up. But somehow she was suffering headaches and nausea. Serious enough that she'd made an appointment with a doctor.

That the doctor specialized in lycanthropy too was no coincidence. Hopefully he would be able to help better because she was after all a werewolf... with a little extra. At least it couldnt hurt, and it wasnt like the doctors had an eldritch abomination expert just ready to go anyways. Ok, that might have been too much. She wasnt an abomination. She did feel guilty for not bringing Hella along for moral support, but she also didnt want to waste her time if it was something minor and stupid.

So Aura sat alone in the waiting room with her swirling thoughts after filling out the paperwork for the visit. Major symptoms: recurring and severe nausea to the point of vomiting and frequent headaches. Extremely uncomfortable. She let her hair sweep down in front of her eyes to hide herself a little bit as she tried not to panic.

Aura swept her hair away from the one 'normal' eye and looked up at the nurse to give a simple "um, yes. Ok." In a quiet voice before following her back to the room. Despite the weather outside she was still wearing short sleeves and capri pants. The cold wasnt too much of a problem when you were always radiating heat.

Once at the room she shyly thanked the nurse and sat on the very edge of the exam bed.

Aura nervously sat on the edge of the exam bed, rubbing at her wrist. "Yes, I um. I have had a lot of stomach distress and headaches lately. But my doctors before told me... um, well i've never been sick. Not since I came here. My body is too warm for most um, viruses and things"

She forced herself to stop fidgeting and looked up to meet the doctor's eyes. This was clearly something serious in her mind. Her chart would have noted her extensive medical history on the islets, including her time spent slowly learning how to be a person again. But not a single mention of any illnesses. Indeed medications tended to have limited effect on her as well as her body regenerates/burns them away quite well. The chart does note that she arrived on MC suffering from a parasitic invasion of her body by some kind of eldritch entity, which apparently had gone dormant or become more controlled throughout her therapy.

As if to exemplify that last fact, several yellow eyes opened up on her neck as she looked at the doctor nervously.

She thought for a moment to confirm it but then shook her head. "No I haven't gone to the space station at all. And I've never been sick. Well... not physically. I've had a lot of um, therapy." She looked down and squirmed a little as she sat there.

"Oh, um if it helps my diet hasn't changed so that's not what's causing the stomach stuff. I can still only eat raw meat." A second mouth opened up on her shoulder but she quickly flinched and covered it with a hand.

"I um, get stressed a lot. But nothing specifically recently. Aside from...," she paused and her face went bright pink from embarrassment as she removed her hand to show the extra mouth. Which had been accompanying her voice as she spoke, though muffled.

As Aura looked away in shame an eye opened up on the back of her hand to watch the doctor. "My um, extra parts have been more active. Ever since the um, long night thing I guess."
