Ian opened the door at the top of the stairs that led to the roof. This was one of the only places at the Academy that he hadn't been to yet. As he stepped out onto the roof, he noticed that there was no one else up here. Ian walked over to the side of the roof and looked over the side. He was looking at the forest, but shifted his gaze over to the lake. After about a minute, he turned around and walked over to a ledge near the stairs and sat down.
Today sure sucked.. Ian thought as he put both his hands on the back of his head and looked down at the floor. It was very quiet out and you could only hear a few cars go by down below. Ian didn't say or even really think anything, he was just tryign to straiten out his thoughts and piece together everything that ahd happened over the past three days.
