Faye wished she had taken more time to say goodbye to Dante, she had left him standing at the door with only a few words, before she shut the door. Now she'd regret it all night.
Faye was happy she didn't share a room, everything had a spot and she'd be really angry if someone were to mess any of her things up. Especially her art pieces. Art hung neatly on her walls, but it was starting to get rather crowded. Soon she'd have to find a new place. Most of her room consisted of art, and art supplies. It was her idea of fun and it's how she expressed herself.
Faye quickly changed into her pajamas, a tank top, and her favorite fuzzy PJ bottoms. She turned on her closet light, and turned off her main light. She was terrified of the dark, and had to have some light to keep her mind at peace. She could feel that rest wouldn't come easy for her tonight, it typically didn't though. So it was nothing new for her.
Faye tossed back and forth all night, finally at 9 am she gave up and went to take a shower. She walked into her bathroom and looked into the mirror. How lovely, she thought, I look like the living dead. Faye quickly undressed and got into the shower. Faye turned the water on without thinking and cold icy water rushed down on her, making her let out a squeal. She jumped out of the shower, changing it to a warmer temperature. She got back in, and quickly finished her shower.
Faye wrapped herself in a towel and let her hair fall around her shoulders although it was still soaking wet. She went to her closet and looking through her clothes. What to wear? What to wear? She thought to herself. She ended up picking a light pink dress that fit her just right, other important necessities, and found a pair of black flats that she tossed by her door, she wouldn't need those until she left.
She put on her dress and ran the towel through her hair, and then dried it with the hair dryer. She added a few curls to her naturally straight her, and added some natural makeup, and added mascara to make her eyelashes standout, and brown eyeliner to make her eyes pop. She finished getting ready and it was only 11:00 am still. She grabbed a sketch book and went to her desk, she needed to put her mind to something as she waited, or time would go that much slower for her.
By the time 11:50 rolled around she completed a sketch of Dante, it could use some improvements, but she liked it. She laid her sketchbook down and put her shoes on. She went back to her bathroom, ran a brush through her hair, sprayed herself with perfume, and went back in her room and grabbed her bag. She opened her door, locked it, and shut it behind her.
She stood with her back against the wall, by her door and waited there, to see if Dante really would show up. She really began to truly wonder.
