Physically, there's not much other than her height to distinguish her from a normal human teenage girl, though one who is perpetually near starvation. Her eyes are bright and hungry, even though her smiles are wide and genuine. She tends to be neutral, but excitable in expression, blushing easily, but not often crying in public.
Although she's a model, when she's not working Fatima generally just wears simple, neutral clothes; usually skirts because it's hard to find pants that fit properly. She does have a preference for the colour green, simply because it suits her well. In the summer she wears as little as possible, but bundles up in the winter. Her horseman form is 9ft tall and pretty much shapeless, only a foot wide from chest to hips. It has pasty grey skin and is completely hairless. Its ribs are protruding, its face is sunken, its flesh is withered, and its limbs are long and gangly. It has a round hole of a mouth, like a leech's, with two rings of teeth inside. It is completely sexless. It is naked and always appears to loom.

Fatima is famine given a human form, a natural force that has been given human emotions, and teenage hormones. She feels conflicted between what she has learned growing up, her humanity, and her famine nature. She is always slightly dissatisfied with life, ill-at-ease. She ranges from mildly curious about the world around her to ravenously hungry for everything it has to offer both emotionally and physically. She is always searching for something beyond her reach. Even if she feels somewhat happy or pleased, she is never content.
Her childhood trauma has left her somewhat damaged and distrustful. Even though she casually has sex with many people, with a high tendency towards masochism, she does not like people touching her outside of sex or without warning. She does not regularly hug people she hasn't slept with unless she's had too much coffee, in which case she's likely to hug anyone who will let her. Perhaps surprisingly, Fatima is monogamous, and she would feel very guilty cheating on her partner, although she still struggles with sexual urges as well as hunger. Fatima tends to be unreservedly kind, though she probably would not recognise that quality in herself. She just naturally shares what she has and does things to cheer people up without thought of reciprocation. She has little-to-no self-control and indulges in many behaviours that would be self-destructive in a human, such as binge-eating, drugs, alcohol, and promiscuity. In fact, she does have a tendency to do harmful things to herself when stressed, such as drinking rubbing alcohol or getting set on fire, but she doesn't quite realize this because she regenerates, so she thinks herself being hurt doesn't matter.

Blowgun- Fatima's blowgun can shrink to the size of a small ring, which she wears on her finger. When she holds it, it can expand rapidly to whatever length she wishes up to its full size of 4' long and about 1/2 inch wide. It shoots out a spray of a salt-like desiccant powder that rapidly soaks up the water of anything it comes into contact with, quickly dehydrating animals and plants alike, and rendering ground infertile. It can also suffocate if it is breathed in and temporarily blind upon eye contact. The blowgun magically replenishes after each shot, but Fatima's lung-capacity doesn't. She can shoot from 1-3 times a minute depending on the distance, and can only sustain for about half an hour, with decreasing efficiency, without rest. This could improve with practice. Fatima's accuracy is good to about 35', with the potential to hit a larger target up to 60' away. The blowgun can only be used by Fatima; it will shrink back to a ring if anyone else touches it.
Induce Starvation - If she concentrates on one person, already affected by her aura of famine, she can increase their craving to starvation while they're within range. If they don't leave the aura or satisfy their craving, the craving will take about an hour to fully diminish once Fatima stops concentrating. If they get out of range or satisfy their hunger, the cravings will fade in 5-10 minutes.
Horseman Form (Famine) - It takes Fatima 24 hours of constant concentration and feeding to transition to her horseman form. In this form, her personality is mostly submerged, and the hunger takes over. To maintain the form, she needs to eat at least 600 calories an hour. When she switches back, she will be extremely hungry and weak. For each hour she spends in Famine form, she must wait a week until she can transform again. Can create a vacuum from their mouth with the force of an industrial vacuum cleaner. In this form, her aura of famine shrinks to 10' but pushes anyone affected to starvation level cravings without requiring concentration. She can sense any living being with any amount of hunger within 100'.

Fatima was summoned by the same apocalyptic cult that summoned Johnathan Rathier (Death) a few months after the cult thought they had failed their initial summoning. This time they were able to summon Famine, still in the form of a human child, but actually at their location. She also had more awareness of who she actually was, and her powers were active. When she hit puberty a ritual was performed that summoned her horseman weapons and enabled her to transform into Famine.
Fatima was raised by the cult, which was mostly male. Her official "parents" were minor government officials who got married as a cover story and passed her off as their own. The cult had its own midwife to sign the papers and make her look legal. They didn't want her raised with normal kids, though, so they simply homeschooled her.
Aside from the fact that she had multiple parents and no siblings, Fatima's life was fairly average. She had classes in English, Math, and the Apocalypse and You. She constantly begged for treats, and usually ate at buffets because everywhere else was too expensive. She was socialised by taking her to museums, churches, and the gym, although she mostly spent time with the cult members. Her training became a little more intense after she received her weapons and horseman form.
Although the cult had spent time searching for Johnathan Rathier, it wasn't until she was about 12 that Fatima learned about the previously summoned horseman. She wasn't sure what to think of him when she first learned about him. Although she did sometimes imagine what it would be like to have had a brother. Three years later, they discovered him, and Death's slaughter of cult members began. After Johnathan started tracking them down, the cult split up and went undercover, leaving Fatima with her nominal parents. Soon after this, she was recruited by Starlight Academy, and the cultists thought this would be a great way for her to get more information on other supernaturals.
She learned that her "parents" had been killed not long after she reached Manta Carlos. She was unsure how to feel about the destruction of her family and simply tried to bury herself in the attempted satisfaction of her various appetites and to perhaps build a new family from the varied creatures.
Being on the Island was hectic and troubled, both because of outside events like the New Year's hostage situation, and just because she had to deal with a newfound freedom, figuring herself out, and dealing with her unresolved childhood trauma. She discovered an unexpected sibling in John, slept for her first and only time, made friends, slept with a lot of people, started therapy, got a crush, got a virus, and eventually ended up in an oddly stable relationship with Gareth Bradford.

But the young famine's life held dark secrets as well. Putting a child with an aura that increased the appetite and inflamed addictions in a group of mentally unstable, secluded men was a recipe for disaster. She had easy access to drugs and alcohol and the other cult members had easy access to her. Growing up with this, Fatima wasn't even aware it was wrong, even though it was often uncomfortable and sometimes hurt. Even though she had her own growing lust after puberty, she was never really attracted to these people who were supposed to be parents to her and was usually unwilling. She was also made to feel guilty if she wanted to satisfy her hungers elsewhere.
