"Oh, thats... probably for the best." admitted Pallavi, thought this hurt her a little more than she expected as her thoughts drifted to her friends and she wondered if they... forgot her too.

"Oh... Iesha? I... don't remember any nagas named Iesha but... if I am every allowed b-back it would be nice to meet her. She... sounds like a good friend." commented Pallavi, wishing that she too could see all of her friends again. Though even if she could go back right now it has been so long... and she wondered if they would even accept her for who she is now...

"Myself? Umm... I'm not as alone as you think... I have Petals to talk too... though... Petals isn't exactly the best when it comes to conversation but I think do try to understand me." stated Pallavi as she chuckled to herself somewhat, reflecting on how they started off as bitter enemies to... amiable roommates.

"S-sometimes I... I speak with the other synthesis flowers but..." Pallavi then hangs her head somewhat "... they really don't like talking to me much... b-because I am... different from the rest of them."

She looks over to Dalia, putting on a smiles to not worry her so much... she didn't need her to feel bad for her.

"W-when I feel lonely... I go into peer into the lives of the many animals that live to her. To see and feel as free as bird, as jublient as butterfly, as powerful as an owlbear, or the cunning of a twin-tail fox! And as they sleep, I look into their dreams... enjoying in the briefest moments all that things that make them happy... and what makes them scared. You don't have to feel sorry for me... though... I do miss everyone back home... I'm sorry... I guess that I am imposing upon you quite a bit. It is better for everyone out there to never know that I am here... my isolation is what protects both me and them."

Dalia crossed her legs and grabbed onto her shoes, listening and smiling a bit. The way Pallavi said it made it all sound really nice. "That sounds amazing. I can't do anything like that... but I can talk to my friends from anywhere. I even talked to my mom when she was on another planet once!"

Dalia's smile faltered a bit though as she considered the idea that Pallavi might not be allowed back in the city. "I... mean. I know synthesis flowers are bad. But you don't seem bad. You seem really sweet, actually."

She paused, biting on her lip and thinking. She played with her hands and considered the girl in front of her. "I could be your friend. And then I could talk to you from anywhere too. I won't tell anybody about you, I promise. I could even come visit sometimes..."

"... thanks... I wish I c-could talk to my friends and... mom like you can. T-tell them all that I am... okey so that they don't have to worry for me anymore... oh sorry... I don't mean to burden you like this." Pallavi shifts her body, shifting her weight so that her tush rests upon one of the fleshy petals. Her face a slight frown when she brings up synthesis flowers.

"Yes but... welll... synthesis flower are bad but... t-they don't know any better... I'm only different because somehow... after the fire...I manage to gain control over the most of the body after me and Petals ever severely burnt. Petals is still there but... they are not... strong enough to control our entire body like how used to before the fires..." explained Pallavi, both she and the parasite flower fully understood how their peculiar situation came to be.

"Friend? You... you want to be my friend? That-" Her entire face seemed to have light up at Dalia's offer of friendship but part of her was... unsure... unsure that she can rely on Dalia to keep her secret safe. But at this point... she sort of has to doesn't she? Petals however... she could hear crawling in the back of her mind expressing their grievances to allow Dalia to able to leave unharmed...

"Ahhk! S-sssorrry! Sorry... l-let just... explain to P-petals..." gritted Pallavi as she clutched her head, mentally arguing with the plant inside her head. Normally the two cooperated better than this Pallavi's proposal to let Dalia go was at complete odds of Petals thoughts of trying to kill her.

"Petals... Petal... they w-wont hurt us... n-no... trusst me... they are friend... t-they wont hurt usss... I promise..." mumbled Pallavi as entire body cramps over, twitching and jerking until after a few moments of internal struggle Pallavi seems to calm down.

"I... I am r-really really sssorry you had to see that... Petals... is slow trust... f-focused on survival... I had to explain... why t-trying to kill you iss a bad idea... so... ssorry..." spoke up Pallavi, looking a bit winded after her internal argument with Petals but seems to have mostly composed herself now.

"No it's fine. I get it. You've been out here a while, huh? I can imagine that it's hard to change how you've done things."

Dalia stood up slowly. She looked Pallavi over, first her human part and then down stairs the massive flower. "I promise I won't tell anyone you're here though. And I'll come visit whenever I don't have classes or training or... I, um... can I ask for something though? It's kind of a weird question..."

She fidgeted a bit. This girl was basically a stranger. But Dalia had never shied away from those before. But with how things recently had been with Iesha, she was more wary about her predilections. But Dalia was still feeling raw... deprived. And this girl wanted to be her friend. She couldn't kill Dalia. Not permanently. And that was assuming she could even touch Dalia now that her head was clearer.

"Could I give you a hug?"

"Oh... I guess I have been here for... awhile... a year or... two?" blurted out Pallavi, though she could only guess how long she has actually be rooted into this forest.

"You... want to visit me?" asked Pallavi, sounding surprised that Dalia would even offer to visit her. "I... sorry... you really shouldn't because its... its not safe for you but... I guess it... can't be helped if you decide to... come out and visit me anyway..."

Wait did she just ask if hug her? That is... rather sweet sentiment coming from Dalia and Pallavi's can't help but smile.

"OH... a hug? Thats... not a weird question actually... some people asked me before if they could give me a hug... before they... I had to kill them. They... understood that though... even when they knew I was to be their executioner... they always showed kindness to me... which made what I had to do... the the worse..." recalled Pallavi, staring off in the distance before snapping her head back to Dalia "Err... except for that one who stabbed me in the back with knife... I sort of freaked out and... and snapped her neck..."

Pallavi shuddered at that thought of that particular memory for necks where not meant to be bent in such a contorted manner. That as an especially bad day but she can't blame the girl's last act of defiance... really it hurt her more all of the terrible things she called her as she plunged the knife into her flesh... all of which was deserved. She shakes her head remembers that Dalia was still in her presence.

"Oh sorry! I... I didn't mean to alarm or sscare your... I... promise that I won't snap you neck either as you... err... hug me... just... just don't stab me... or... set me on fire...sorry for making this weird." babbled on Pallavi as she rubs the back of her neck, thinking how she can't make something as simple as asking for a hug an awkward affair.

Dalia, honestly, laughed a little bit. It was a morbid sounding laugh and she had to stop herself from it before she scared Pallavi too much. "You didn't scare me. I've seen so much worse. My mom is a war goddess." Holding out her six arms with her palms open, Dalia grinned a bit. "But no knives and no fire. I promise. I can't actually hurt you unless you hurt me first. It's one of the rules of me being a goddess."

But she was rambling now. Slipping her shoes off, Dalia stepped forward slowly, keeping her arms raised where the other girl could see them. Slowly, she ascended the flower petals and stepped into the cool honey at the flower's center.

If Pallavi didn't stop her at all, Dalia would walk closer until they were almost touching. She slipped her arms slowly around the girl, feeling the mild euphoria she always did at physical contact with people. Burying her face in Pallavi's shoulder, Dalia's sense of determination faltered. And she cried. Sobbing, really. For her loss of Jax. For the fate of this poor girl. For the bad things she'd done to Argenta. For every bad thing that happened to people who didn't deserve it.

Okay, what Pallavi just said would have alarmed almost every other that had come here... although Dalia has so far proven herself a different situation than what she was used to. When Dalia came to her with palms open, Pallavi lowed the petal in front of her so that Dalia so that she had something to stand on upon and embraced the multiple armed hug. This... this was a nice feeling... at least until Dalia suddenly started crying.

"W-why are your crying? I... I should be the o-one crying." piped up Pallavi, being alone waiting for when she could once again be accepted to society... becoming a reluctant murdering in this forest of kill or be killed. But then she remembered that she was not the only one with her own struggles to overcome. Dalia had come trying to find someone dear to her and though she happened upon her by circumstance, the one she is searching for still eluded her. And... who knew what other battles this little goddess has going on.

"Sorry... I... g-got so caught up with myself that I f-forget that you had your own struggles." apologized Pallavi imminently, resting her chin on Dalia's shoulder opposite to the side that she was crying on. She squeezes her a little tighter in her arms, a few tears slipping down her cheeks.

"I... I wish I c-could help you l-like your helping me right now... sorry... that I h-have nothing to offer you..."

"You're helping more than you know... I really needed this."

Dalia embraced Pallavi tighter, her sobbing starting to diminish. She lifted up as best as she could and nuzzled her cheek against the other girl's face. Dalia barely registered the mild tingling in the portion of her body submerged in the honey as the digestive juices slowly began to work on her.

"I'm sorry for crying. I just- I've been feeling a lot lately. And it's hard, keeping it in all the time. I talk to my other friends but I can't- they don't understand everything and sometimes I just want to talk to someone else. I used to talk to Jax all the time about stuff..."

"Oh... if... if you say this helping... s-sorry that I'm not... Jax." apologized Pallavi, still latching onto Dalia in her arms, she was been so devoid of any physical contact that this was all a bit overwhelming for her. "Its... its okey to cry... sometimes... tears are... just way to let everything out... I... I used to cry a lot when... all of the bad things happened to me too." The way she felt... the way she smelled... the way she tasted... wait the way she taste?

"Eppp! Uhh... Dalia sorry" apologized Pallavi as she suddenly lets go, now trying to push Dalia away "... I don't mean to alarm you... I am sort of... eating you... sorry. Can you uhh... step outside of the yellow goo?" explained a concerned Pallavi, making sure to prop from under one of her sets of armpits with her hands, trying to make sure she doesn't accidentally sink further into the central cavity.

Gosh why are things have to be so weird with her now? Can't she enjoy a tender moment with her new friend without the thought of accidentally eating her? Granted it would have taken her a long time before she would be able to digest Dalia but... it didn't help that Petals was quietly remaindering her how hungry she is... NO BAD PETALS! Dalia is friend not food.

Dia was suddenly aware of the tingling in her feet when Pallavi brought it up. She looked down and then back up at the other girl, grinning. "Oops, haha! Sorry, I didn't mean to..." tempt her? Whatever. Either way, it was fine.

Dalia leaned up and gave Pallavi another squeeze and stepped back out of the yellow goo. She wiggled her toes, kind of laughing a bit. "That's neat."

Looking around, Dalia took in the surroundings for really the first time. The flowers were gorgeous. The whole place was peaceful. Her grin softened into s kind of sad smile. "I'm sorry you're all alone, but at least you picked a really pretty place to live."
