<div align=center>A ghost of a frown crossed Levi's face when Ty called him dumb, but it vanished as soon as he apologized. He was like a cat, especially with the way that his tail flicked lazily back and forth. He stared at the boy as he began explaining what the beach was, it rung a bell, Levi thought he could see it from the very top of the school. He could at least see all that water, was that what the ocean was? "Is.. Is the ocean what all that... All that water everywhere is?" He asked, brow furrowing ever so slightly.

Levi liked hot places though, the warmer it was the better. Building things! That sounded like fun, Levi had never felt sand but if you could build things with it, it must have been fun. "What do you do with the ocean?" He asked, "what does it do?" Everything served some kind of purpose, didn't it? He knew that the Earth was more or less covered in the stuff, but what was the point in the world being more or less completely covered with water if you couldn't drink it? That seemed a bit strange to the demon. "Why does it taste bad?"</div>

"Yes." The ocean surrounded the island entirely, and Ty was rather surprised that Levi didn't visit it sooner. It wasn't like it was easy to ignore, anyway. From the school roof, you could practically see everything.
"Do? You don't really ... Do anything with it. I suppose you can go boating, swimming and fishing. If you pull up your pant legs, you can wade around and find cool shells and starfish sometimes. Tiny fishes and creatures even swim into shallow little tide pools sometimes-- If its the right time of the year, you can sometimes even find baby sharks and jellyfish. " He had seen quite a few tide pools scattered across the island, and it was always an adventure to look through them. The deeper ones were dangerous, though. You never knew what lurked beneath in the dark waters.

"The ocean is very salty, though. It's like dumping a whole bag of salt into one cup of water. Not very nice to drink. It makes your clothes all stiff and crusty if you get wet, too. That's why it's better to wear bathing suits and short clothes to the beach." Patting Levi's head gently, Ty brushed lingering hair away from the boy's forehead. "Are you done with your fit, now? We can go now, if you like. Pack snacks... I bought a lot for you. For... Me. Not you. "

<div align=center>Swimming! Levi had never swum before. Never in his life. He didn't even know if he could swim, but it couldn't be that hard, could it? Especially someone as light as him, he'd float. His eyes grew wider as Ty continued, that sounded exciting. He didn't really know what a jellyfish was but with a name like that it sounded like a lot of fun. He wanted to swim, though! He wanted to swim and go fishing, Levi had never caught a fish before - but he knew what they were. They were strange and slimy and flapped if you put them on land.

"Ew. That sounds nasty." Levi didn't know if he had a bathing suit either. What was that? Special clothes for going in the water? He always took baths naked, but he wondered if that was the wrong thing to do now. Public nudity is against the law! Of course, he remembered that now, that was probably why you had to wear a bathing suit to go into the sea. "Can I swim? I've never swum before." He sat up suddenly, leaning close to Ty and staring at him. "I want to go to the beach! Take me to the beach!" He squished himself against Ty all of a sudden, wrapping his arms around his waist and tucking his head underneath his chin. He liked this idea, he wanted to go to the beach and bring snacks.</div>

It was incredible to watch Levi light up over something so seemingly insignificant as the ocean, but in a way it was rather endearing. He thought this was probably a bad idea, though. He was not the most patient of people, and he could already tell that Levi would have an unholy amount of questions — especially once they got there.

"You can swim if you like. I guess it won't be too hard to help you learn." Swimming wasn't much of a science, really. All you had to do was kick, paddle and don't drown. It caught him off guard when Levi sat up, leaning in too close for comfort. Why was he so close? Was this really necessary? Squinting in his mild discomfort, Ty shuddered when he felt Levi press up against him without warning. He liked it kinda, but was rather uncertain about this whole touching thing. Stiffly patting Levi's head, he nervously wedged his hand in between their bodies, nudging Levi so he wasn't so damn close. "We can go if you get off of me. Pack some beach things, and wear shorts if you have them."

<div align=center>Levi liked the idea of learning to swim, he thought it would be useful if there was ever a mass flood. Though I suppose I can just fly. Levi probably would have an unholy amount of questions, he was a curious creature by nature, and all these new things were exciting to him. He didn't mean to do it to irritate Ty, though. He was more like an excitable child who wanted to know everything in as little time possible. There didn't seem like there was much to know about the ocean though, it was very big and had a lot of salt in it, Ty had said.

He struggled to his feet and made it his mission to locate a pair of shorts, that didn't take very long in the end, he pulled a pair out and whirled around to face Ty. "Shall I get changed now?" He asked, "I'll get changed now." Taking a moment to struggle out of his jeans and shirt, Levi tossed them to the ground and went back to rummaging in his set of drawers to find something more beach appropriate, more or less completely naked aside from his underwear until he found a tank top to get dressed in alongside his shorts. "Let's go!"</div>

Levi removed himself from his body, and Ty stood as well, starting a little as Levi whisked back around. "Ah, yeah. May as well." A light flush crept into his cheeks, staring as Levi threw off his clothes. Frowning, he ripped his gaze away and focused fiercely on finding his own clothes. Forcing himself to sort through his own drawers, Ty stood at a slight angle, so he could keep Levi in his peripheral, trying very hard to reassure himself that it was not gay. He just had such a nice body.

His frown deepening, he latched onto an old pair of board shorts and a tank top, tugging them out gingerly. Levi was done and dressed just as he managed to get them out, and he paused. He didn't want to go hide in the bathroom to change, especially if Levi had been brave enough to do it so openly. Not wanting to back down from the challenge, Ty braced himself before ripping off his shirt in one motion. "Pack some snacks, too. Also probably water or drinks if we've got any." Shimmying off his pants now, he threw the top over his head, pulling it down smoothly and stepping into his shorts. "What else do we need for the beach? Towels, too. Sunglasses." It had been an eternity since he had last visited a beach properly, and he was unpracticed in the ways of packing a beach bag. Hauling two towels out of the bathroom, he heaped them on his bed, flicking his sunglasses open so they could hang off the neckline of his shirt. "Ready?"

<div align=center>Levi whirled around to face Ty, he'd felt his eyes on him, though thought it would probably be best to keep his mouth shut about it. He couldn't hide the light blush creeping up his cheek, however. God damn why is he so pretty? Listening to him for a moment and nodding, sunglasses, he definitely had those. Locating a pair and propping them atop his head, he looked more like a Hawaiian Islander than an Incubus, aside from the tail and the horns. His wings were able to sit comfortably outside his shirt for once. He liked it better that way, it was a lot more comfortable, especially in this kind of heat.

Ty had brought a bag of snacks in, hadn't he? Though taking a few more wouldn't do anyone any harm. Levi didn't think he had any water in here but they could probably buy that somewhere - since Tyberius had told him that drinking the seawater was not a good idea. Rummaging around in the section underneath the window seat for a moment, Levi located a couple more packets of cookies as well as some mini salted pretzels that hadn't been opened yet. "I'm ready," he chirped, nodding once and beaming up at the older man. He'd evidently recovered from his fit. </div>
