Private Finished Faraway Past

Varvara noticed Tristan's blushing and if she could blush too she probably would have. But she couldn't. She was a nymph with rainwater as blood. So instead she sank into her knees before Tristan and enjoyed his wings around her. Varvara felt like she could spend the eternity given to her there, just sensing Tristan near her.
But she had much to learn and see. The fact remained that she had only scraped the surface of all she wanted to experience. Varvara felt great relief that acquiring her memories didn't taint what she was now.
Varvara intertwined her fingers with Tristan's and smiled at him
"You have helped me more than anyone has, in this life or the one before. I thank you for that, Tristan. I shall help you too, if you ever need anything from me. Because I enjoy your company too, more than enjoy it."
Varvara sighed, content, and let the final tears fall down from her eyes.
"Now, I do think we must leave soon. Although I would rather much enjoy just sitting here for a while."

Varvara shook her head a little bit at Tristan's words.
"Even if you do or do not find anything I shall be at your side. You cannot stop me."
She chuckled.
Varvara had never been in this kind of situation before where someone genuinely wished for her company, truly thought she was good, worth it. In her previous life people had adored her in very many ways but this was different. It could have made Varvara cry all over again. But she stopped herself, she didn't want to make the situation about herself yet again.
"I wander these forests continually but somehow I have a feeling after this they will be different. Good different."
Varvara smiled at this word that was only understood between her and Tristan. She looked the boy in the eyes. She felt his wings tighten around them, just a bit, and Varvara granted Tristan with a smile. She thought he looked quite cute when he blushed. Mostly out of curiosity, and strange desire, Varvara leaned in and gentky brushed her lips over Tristan's cheek. In the dramas it was usually done on the lips but Varvara had a feeling it was too early for that, too much.

"It was my first time kissing someone in this life"
Varvara smiled gently, Tristan's reaction was simply so cute. For some reason Varvara felt calm, she felt no embarrassment. She had wanted to kiss Tristan so she had. And when he thanked her she had just enough time to say
"You're welcome Tristan"
before the boy reached in and kissed her cheek as well. Then Varvara felt embarrassment. She touched her cheek as well, and felt a little sorry that she couldn't blush. She felt like blushing.
As Tristan squeezed her hand and offered Varvara a small smile Varvara felt like her mind was the only one in ethereal form. It felt like it was floating and flying, lighter than air.
"I am quite confused."
Varvara admitted out loud and gave Tristan a small smile back.

"Yes, I don't think it's a bad thing either. It feels warm, like you"
Varvara sighed and let hear heart, stomach, whole body flutter. She chuckled.
"I do think the two of us often make normally negative concepts good. Good different, and now good confusing. You make anything good."
"I do wish to stay here, for a long time. But I also do believe I cause a scene."
Varvara laughed, and her earlier crisis felt so much smaller now.
"Although I like being with you too."
Varvara sighed a bit and stood up, pulling Tristan with her.
"But let us go back. I do not wish to worry our friends."
Varvara gave Tristan's cheek one last kiss.
"After all, we do have eternity."
