Gabe was leaning back against the wall, with his legs draped over the side of his bed. He reached for a cigarette but the packet was empty. Oh yeah I was supposed to get more of them. He let out a deep sigh. He hadn't been bothered to do anything worthwhile during the past few days, not since the break up. He'd barely slept or eaten and he stunk to high heavens from the lack of showers.
This was probably the only bad break-up Gabriel had ever had. Usually he was the one to end it which probably made a difference, but he had also never gotten as attached to someone as he had with William. It felt alien to Gabe being on his own yet he didn't want to go crawling back to William just yet. The boy was probably expecting him to do just that and Gabe had some pride.
The more Gabe thought about it the more riled up he got. Trying not to think about it only worked for so long before he started coming up with all the things he could have said, should have done. And when he thought about those things he got frustrated, and upset. He wished he'd done something more at the time, something that would have stopped William from leaving him.
Gabe let out a scream and smashed his fist against the wall, trying to get rid of some of the pent up frustration. He felt something sting and he swore he heard a faint sizzling sound. No, this can't be happening. I have control, I have control.
