Sometimes she was too lenient for her own good to her students, giving her students extra time on their assignment might be nice for them but a burden to herself as she was falling behind schedule and grading was being backed up. Plus it didn't help that her TA was nowhere to be seen today, was unlike her as she was always so timely but Izumi just assumed she was sick or something happened. Realizing that she would have to stay in after hours to do finish up grading, she steps out of her office to get some fresh outdoor air as well as give her daughter a quick phone call. She let the phone ring a bit, waiting for the phone to pick but was greet with an answering machine instead.
"Heeyyy Rin... it's your mom. Listen I am going to have stay at school for a couple hours. I'm not sure how exactly long but thought I would give you a heads up. I know you know how to take care of yourself at this point so all I ask is that you do the dishes and laundry before I get home alright? Love sweetie. I'll see you later okay? Alright bye~" Izumi ended the message, glancing down the halls.
"Oh how I wish I had another pair of hands to help me with all this grading. I suppose I should give Neon a call too." huffed Izumi as she dials Neon, waiting for him to pick up while unaware of any passerbys at the moment.
