It'd taken a good amount of digging and poking about for Hadrian to track Ishvi down. Ironically it just lead him back to the school, he'd apparently re-enrolled after leaving the police force.

So a bit more snooping about and he'd found him in the courtyard, or rather passing through it. Taking a breath to steady himself he'd slip on his power null bracelet to turn his aura off and approached his fellow angel.

"Ishvi?" he'd say as he slowly walked to him, "uh....hey, it's been a while." He'd rub the back of his head, feeling awkward, he knew Ishvi didn't care for him, didn't blame him really. "You got a minute? Just wanted to talk a little."

If Ishvi had a list of people he did not want to run into, Hadrian would definitely be at the top of the list, possibly only below Johanna. Really, he didn't want to talk to any angel, especially one he sort of knew. The reminder of home just made it more uncomfortable. Even the fact the other angel was also falling didn't help. If anything it made it worse, and Hadrian hadn't even fallen completely.

Struck with a strong urge to hide himself, Ishvi's form flickered wildly for a moment while he debated whether or not he could get away with pretending not to have noticed the boy. But that seemed kind of pointless at the moment, no matter how much he did not want to deal with this.

"No, I don't -" Ishvi paused as he stopped himself from lying. He did have a small amount of time between classes. "I don't want to talk to you. Especially not where everyone can see. What could you possibly have to say to me anyway? This isn't home." Not that either of them could go home now, even if it hadn't been destroyed. He hoped this boy would go away, Ishvi felt a little sick just looking at him.

He'd sigh a bit, he'd known that Ishvi had been struggling just as much as he had. "Yeah this...this place isn't the same as home," it was better in his mind, but adjusting was still hard. "Getting used to everything and knowing we can't go back.....I know it isn't easy."

The young angel took a breath before continuing. "But that's not really why I'm here...but I'm always around if you need someone to talk to." He knew what he was about to tell him was going to be hard, but he needed to know.

"Ishvi....your mother is on the island." He'd let the words sink in a bit before continuing. "I talked to her some....you can talk to her to if you'd like."

Why wouldn't this boy leave? Ishvi didn't want Hadrian's sympathy - he just wanted to be left to himself. Although, in a way he was relieved that it wasn't another angel, who'd probably be much more disappointed in him for falling. He was perhaps being a little stubborn too, home had never taught him forgiveness.

Flickering again, Ishvi started to just walk away. If Hadrian still insisted on talking to him, the other angel would just have to follow somewhere that wasn't the middle of the courtyard. It wasn't daytime, so there was no danger if he did end up fully shifting, but Ishvi still hated doing that in public.

It was hard enough to talk to people he trusted; there was no way Ishvi was going to confide in Hadrian. He frowned a little, only half listening until the boy mentioned his mother. Of course, he didn't suspect at all that it was his birth mother being talked about.

"No..." It was a strangled whisper and he shifted without warning, the guilt and shame almost overwhelming. His wings wrapped around himself like he was trying to hide, and he just stood still a moment trying to process.

"Ishvi...," he'd say with a small sigh as he followed him, "look, you're birth mother is here...she got away from the outpost before it fell." He'd leave Ishvi alone once he'd managed to tell him, to get his word in.

"Look.....I lost everything too....your mom did too," he'd say, looking at him, "you don't have to be alone, none of us do." He considered taking off his power bracelet, letting the aura help, but that wouldn't be right.

"Now...if you want I'll go for now....I just wanted to tell you you're mom is here....and to make the offer to talk if you ever need too."

Ishvi could barely process what Hadrian was saying. Of course his birth mother was alive, she'd been exiled before the outpost had fallen, before he left. It took a moment before he realized the other angel had talked to her, that she was on the island, here.

"She chose to do what she did, and was punished for it. I didn't... I wasn't fallen before I came here." He gulped in a breath and looked over at Hadrian. Should he really still be mad at the other angel for falling, heading down, when he was already there himself? "I don't understand how you can be where you are when you were given everything. Turn back, fix it. I can't help. Right now I'm - we all should be punished."

Ishvi shook his head. He couldn't ignore everything he'd learned and open up to someone who should've been his leader, even if the other angel was younger in age. Hadrian falling still felt wrong. "You should go."

This was a lot to process. He wanted to fly away right now, but he did have another class. It was gonna take a lot to shift back, but Ishvi was used to bottling up his emotions. "... It was good for you to tell me, but I'm not going to talk to you."

"There is no going back Ishvi.....we can only go forward now." He didn't really want to go back, he didn't like his life before, even if it was less confusing than his current one.

He'd nod, agreeing to go. "Just....y'know...I'm around if you need me." He wasn't sure if the conversation had gone well, perhaps it'd at least gone better than he'd expected.

Either way the young angel would turn and walk away, hoping he'd done the right thing in talking to him.
