Every place has rumors, and Manta Carlos is no different. This thread exists to help people get a feel for what kind of gossip their characters would be hearing. If something's going on in-character, and you think other characters would know about it, be sure to post here and let others know!

Rumor: A little above Manta Carlos' ocean, something described as a portal was seen. That section of air twisted and sucked into itself, taking on a kaleidoscope effect. It was only open for about three seconds before everything returned to normal, but something thin dropped out of it in the meantime. A small boat was seen nearing the area.

Who's Hearing It?: People on the edge of the waterfront might have caught a glimpse of it. The rumors can spread from there to the school, community center, and elsewhere.

Rumor: Rumours are spreading of an anonymous forum (ConfessionBox.com) where people can vent out their frustrations of give counsel for free, without fear of being exposed in real life.
Who's Hearing It?: Students and younger characters would definitely be hearing about it, as would techy or Internet savvy characters.

Rumor: Wolf's Den Gym finally opened and offering much more than initially thought.
Who's Hearing It?: Anyone that gets a kick with fitness, that has enhanced strength, and students/government (for the discounts) specifically. But anyone that goes out through town would have seen construction, as well as people involved with enchanting.

Rumor: High School sophomore Ganymede Lind made a comment that many of his classmates think is very funny. To paraphrase it the way that his classmates have: "Sex is overrated. I'd rather be playing the piano." A bunch of teenagers are having a giggle at his expense over that one.
Who's Hearing It?: Students at Starlight Academy, especially those in high school, and some teachers who may have overheard their students discussing it.
