Fake Attacks Might Look Real

Walking out onto the little courtyard at the back of the house, Tomas just smiled slowly to himself. God, he loved the news that was coming back to him. News of his sister being interviewed by the police - twice now, her unfortunate meeting with that Praxian, Sevina. He hoped Sevina had scared the wits out of his little bitch of a sister, wiped that goddamn smug smile off her pretty little face. He had heard about her interview with Nick - calling him an errand boy... which had, truthfully, made Tomas chuckle since the guy was an insufferable prick in his mind - but still, he could see Zora acting like the superior whore he knew her to be, so confident she knew better, smarter than the rest, so sure that she'd not get caught.

And today, he had a nice little surprise for his little sis, Zora... throw her for a loop. Make her question things, doubt her theories. Tomas knew she had figured out he was involved with the Black Wings. Calling their grandfather here had tipped him off. He knew exactly why the old man had come - to tell her about the properties, show her evidence. However, it didn't matter anymore. Operations had been set up, plots put in motion and foundations were being laid, everything was moving along as planned.

He had set up an attack on himself. Hired a few Black Wings on the side to hit the house and make it seem like the Black Wings were out to get him as well. And if everything went smoothly, he'd report it to the police and throw them and his sister off his trail.

Tomas sat back and let the new girl, Prae something or another, serve him lunch on the patio. She was... a rather committed employee he had to admit as he eyed her, not exactly sure about her... such zeal was rather unusual and suspect in his opinion.

Not paying much attention to Prae, Tomas took a sip of his wine, ignoring her almost until she mentioned that they had visitors, Tomas then looked at her in surprise, hiding the fact that he knew already about them - but surprised that she seemed to detect them before they had made their appearance.

Listening, Tomas could hear voices and shook his head at this... they weren't very stealthful that's for sure, the men he had hired to attack were obviously not used to doing surprise attacks. And sure enough, the pair appeared before him and Prae seconds later dressed as Black Wings brandishings guns, shouting and telling them to get up slowly from the table.

Tomas gazed at Prae stunned when he saw her change forms and send the assailants flying. He had not expected her to stop the attack - not at all. He had expected her to run, hide, go for cover - anything but actually defend him.

Looking towards the men she had flung back, seeing them get back to their feet, looking somewhat stunned. The two men then stepped back a bit, glancing rather unsure at Tomas. They had not expected the girl, and certainly not anyone defending Tomas - that had not been in the plan.

Looking at the two Black Wings, waiting for Prae's attention to be diverted, Tomas then glared at the men and nodded with his head that they should attack again. After some hesitation, the two men, ran towards Tomas and the centipede-lke girl again. This time the men came screaming at them as Tomas stepped back and let them attack Prae.

Taking another step back, Tomas could only stare blankly at Prae - the girl was, in fact, ruining his plans. Initially, the plan had been for the Black Wings to attack the house, rough him up a little and go away - throw any suspicion off of him.

Now, this plan would need to be modified... although, as Tomas looked at Prae again, maybe things could still work out, he surmised quickly. Prae was dispensable - if she got hurt or killed, well, even better, no? Everything would look even more authentic.

Hearing Prae shout at him to get to safety, Tomas nodded, and eyed the men he had hired before he left, mouthing at them angrily to "get the fuck up and do their job". Then he rushed into the house to get out of harm's way.

Watching from the safety of the building, Tomas stared on quietly. He still could not quite believe his new servant - Praeministra - was actually fighting off the Black Wings single-handedly. It was... quite a spectacle if he were honest. And the more he watched, the more Tomas wondered if he could use her somehow.

Not that he actually needed a bodyguard - not like his sister did - her and that Broen person... Tomas frowned at that. He had heard the rumours - his sister was supposedly fucking her bodyguard, and that, made him see red. Whore, was the word that ran through his mind at that thought. Narrowing his eyes, Tomas swore, Zoraida always managed to get under his skin, he effectively hated his sister, wanted to ruin her.

Glancing again at Prae as she punched out the guards, Tomas started to form an idea in his mind. Maybe he did need personal security... Maybe he could use Prae somehow. He wasn't sure yet, but there were possibilities, definite possibilities.
