Judas, who had been at a distance, watching as he strolled forward and spoke, had plenty of time to react, ducking and rolling forward, turning to face Ezmerelda when she landed.

He laughed, moving back and taking advantage of her anger, quickly catching a punch of hers in his metal fist, his energy drain going into effect.
