Tora began speaking softly. "I'm sorry...Rasa. I just can't like you. It's too complicated. I wish I could, but I just can't." She sighed, picked up her tray, threw away her trash and with one more quick glance at Rasa, headed outside.
He looks to her and watches her get up and leave. He hurriedly puts his stuff away and dashes outside after her. He moves and grabs her wrist, pulling her towards him. He lips were instantly against her own.
Taken aback, Tora instantly responded by kissing him back. Her hand went behind his neck and she intertwined her fingers into his hair. When she pulled back, she reachd up and kissed his cheek, then let her forehead drop to his chest. She argued with herself about hether to tell him what the problem was or not.
Liftly her head up, she grinned slightly at him. "Oh, no. Sorry. Quite the contrary." She wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly, not wanting to look hm in the eyes any longer than she had to.
Without looking at him, she bit her lip. "Do I have to?" She asked softly. She knew he most likely wouldn't speak to her after he found out why she could no longer see him. It would be a danger to her life for her to have someone with her.
After at least five minutes of silence, Tora stepped out of Rasa's embrace and took a few steps away from him. When she spoke, her back was to him and her arms were hugging her stomach. "I'm engaged," she said, as if that explained everything.
