The clerk said four hundred dollars. That was expensive, but nothing Tora couldn't pay for. It was nice that she came from a rich family and that she had millions of dollars in her name alone.
Sighing because she didn't have that much money with her.....she spun and fired an order at Rasa. "You pay for them!"
He blinks and pulls out his wallet. He suddenly got a sad look and paid the man, holding back tears. He turned his wallet upside down and nothing came out after paying the man.. "It's... so.. empty.."
Giddy with happiness, Tora impulsively got on her tip-toes and gave him a quick hug. She then, swinging the plastic bag with the shoes in it, left the store, saying a thank you to Rasa while walking.
