Private Finished Everyone needs a friend

Remiel must've been curious to see the house all over. If he believed papa to be evil or otherwise cruel or mean seeing that the house was normal was probably weird. Or so Aluin suspected as he silently observed Remiel's demeanour and expressions. Aluin had noticed that he was becoming better and better at guessing what people thought based on things like that.

"Mhm. T-those are the r-rules, a-after all."
Aluin said with the smallest smile, attempting to make a subtle joke. He wasn't really good at them, but Aluin was practicing hard to be better at them. Jokes were pretty normal, after all.
"I'll c-count to h-hundred too."
Aluin said, then slowly turned around, covered his ears and started counting out loud quietly.

Hide and seek was scary, but when playing it with Rem Aluin felt a lot less scared. Since Rem genuinely wanted to play with Aluin and didn't leave him alone either. And all the other things they did afterwards too were not just almost fun, they were actually bit fun. Aluin was having fun, even if it was just a little. It made him happy. Having a friend was nice...

But all good things must come to an end and Remiel had to leave. Aluin, though a tiny bit disappointed, nodded.
"Okay. T-thank you for c-coming, I had f-fun too."
Aluin said and gave a tiny smile.
