evenings less lonesome

If anyone asked Eleanor if she had any plans that evening until earlier that day, she would have said no, she had none at all. 'Would have' being the keyword into that entire phrase. Eleanor never made plans. Aside from her work schedule that tends to shift depending on the influx of costumers, she didn't really plan out her day, especially since moving into the island. She didn't plan to be out, and she especially did not plan to be out on what could be considered to be a date.

It wasn't bad, per se. Sean had asked her out to a movie and she had to admit it wasn't bad. It wouldn't be something she would go for if she had to go with her preferred genre. If her being focused on the movie was any indication along with the slight twitches of her slip every other time, one could say she actually enjoyed the movie. The only case was that she was quiet, somewhat contemplative at times, but it might have also been simply her being attentive.

Eleanor followed behind Sean as they left the cinema, amidst a chattering crowd. She hung at his arm as she did earlier. She only spoke once the crowd seemed to have filtered out, likely headed home, or somewhere else downtown. "Well, that was nice. The characters were really endearing," she seemed to hum.

"You wouldn't be referring to Russo's, would you?" Eleanor hummed thoughtfully, her gaze looking anywhere but at him. It was a rather long hum, almost like she was trying to actually drag out the moment. She didn't really need to think about it for too long if she were a little more honest. She took a second or two before she turned back to Sean, there was almost a small smirk visible in her features, "I have no qualms. I do like Italian," she told him.

His next query had her think though; a question she barely took time to think about. If she had to be honest, she didn't do things out of 'fun' anymore. She didn't think she could. But she wouldn't admit that--she didn't like seeming so plain. "Books and movies are my usual thing. A big fan of theater. I've seen a lot when I was younger," she told him, "But you know, I've been experimenting what else I could do in my spare time. What about you?"
