Even though his figure is short and lean, Eurys is still discreetly muscled due to his training. His diamond shaped face has wide, upturned violet eyes, a roman nose and pouty lips. His short, golden blonde hair is quite soft, and always has its crown perched upon it.

The proud yet gruff prince of the Filurians, Eurys has a very confident demeanor and a charm to him that affects dozens. He's very serious about his work and knows how to get a job done; his ability to spot strengths and weaknesses of others contributes to being an effective team leader. Highly driven to succeed, he has a love of travel and wants to be wherever the activity is, loving to throw himself into any situation. He's absolutely ruthless in a battle or debate, with a surprisingly intimidating demeanor that can plow down the enemy. However, he also has his sweet side. Always doing his best to be gentle with his loved ones, he's a quiet listener with a love of flowers and deep conversation.

Eurys has absolutely 0 awareness of how his actions affect others or himself. He experiences no remorse over any of these actions either, plowing ahead with his decisions and leaving reckless chaos in his wake. Deeply prone to paranoia and delusions, he firmly believes that no one in the world is safe and that he's a lone being sent to cause only pain to the world. Hallucinations also impair his mental processing. He's heavily emotionally withdrawn from the people around him and is rarely ever honest or loyal, taking everything too seriously and personally. Sometimes he can even be a bit of a crybaby, as he can't handle defeat or criticism and breaks down when exposed to either. He'll never admit his own sensitivity though, and covers it up with a constant gruff and rude attitude.

Eurys specializes in generating what appears to be an electronic screen that hovers around his head. While not actually an electronic device, but instead a product of pure magical energy, it functions very similarly to one. With this available Eurys can map out complex charts, equations and logical problems within seconds, enabling him a fast reaction time and easy access to solutions of all kinds. However, in order for this to work well Eurys has to remain completely calm. Charged emotions and flurried thoughts will cause this screen to malfunction, providing false answers and glitching out to a point where he cannot see it properly.

The Filurians were a very secluded race of fae whose magic was the result of one component: the presence of the golden blood of the gods in their veins. The more gold one had the more powerful one was, and the royal family was composed of those with 100% golden blood. Eurys Zukei was born the oldest of five royal children each a year apart from the next. However, it would soon become clear that he was no ideal heir to the throne.

As soon as he could toddle about Eurys displayed unnaturally violent tendencies for such a small child. He seemed to deliberately abuse animals, hit when he didn't get his way, and made threats to others constantly. As a preschooler he seemed incapable of learning from his mistakes or being taught why certain things were wrong. It would only get worse: nobody knew that he was developing a rare case of childhood schizophrenia, and he was already beginning to hallucinate and grow paranoid of others.

Despite this, Eurys' parents decided he needed to be forced into the role of a leader anyway. He was already under extreme stress because of his mental health and despised all his prince duties. Yet the worst problem began when he was introduced to the royal advisor at age 8. This was a man with a covered up history of pedophiliac crimes, and when he saw the little prince he knew exactly what he wanted to see done to him.

Before Eurys knew it he was being touched and forced upon in ways that were highly inappropriate. Ways that made him intensely uncomfortable and afraid. The advisor molested him constantly when they were alone up through age 13, and after so much sickening fear with no one believing his tales, he'd had enough. He chose to smuggle poison into the man's drink to murder him, and to his great surprise nobody ever discovered the truth.

Now the oldest prince was not only suffering under the weight of his mental health, but was also traumatized by the sexual advances of a filthy advisor. He was immensely unstable, yet his parents shoved him forward into the role of heir in order to fulfill tradition. Eurys now found himself entrusted with more power than he was ready to handle. After so many years of bottling up his symptoms, all of a sudden there was an open gate to vent them.

Eurys began sending extremely manipulative messages to members of a rival kingdom of fae, discussing trades he new would provoke them behind his parents' back. It was all a marvelous game to him, one that would lead to destruction.

All of it happened too fast for him to comprehend. New letters he didn't plan. Angry yelling in his parents' room. Now all of a sudden the two kingdoms had declared war on each other because of his messages. He was horrorstruck yet fascinated as he saw millions of soldiers flood their little kingdom, decimating everything in their path. When the soldiers reached the castle his parents helped he and his youngest sibling escape through an underground room, where he crouched in fear and waited it out.

Nothing was left. When the cries of war faded and the two emerged, nothing was left. Eveeything, everything the rival kingdom touched had been destroyed, and the entirety of his family and citizens were dead. It was a scene straight out of a horror movie, and for the first time in his life he was shattered with feelings of regret. All this pain, all this hatred had been caused by his reckless plans and unstable, thoughtless emotions. Yet just as he thought everything was lost, something new happened: he received a letter from a mysterious place called Starlight Academy.

Eurys realized that Manta Carlos could very well be the last chance he'd ever have to build he and his sibling a new life. As such, the two of them set upon moving there almost immediately. He confessed what he'd done upon arriving, and has since then been attempting to rebuild what was lost.

Thankfully, the rival kingdom was primarily focused on destruction instead of raiding, and did not discover the royal family's hidden compartments of riches. Eurys was able to extract enough gold to keep he and his sibling well-off for a long time. He thus has access to food, clothing, housing, and school supplies.
