Enter the heat of battle

"That's a good idea. A lot of the newbies don't know where their place is in the school, so they do a lot of stupid stuff, like hanging around the Administrations Office." Marina nodded and wrote it down. "These are all pretty solid ideas. I think we're good. Do we have anything else on the agenda, or do you want to go get ready to go to the radio station soon?"

Marina nodded and packed everything into her Lacoste purse, securing the straps on her shoulder.

"Let's go." She headed for the door, and as soon as Morgan and her were out, she turned off the lights and locked the door. Marina headed to the parking lot outside, straight to her Barbie pink Cadillac. "I'll drive, come on," she said as she gestured for Morgan to take shotgun. "Station's near the mall, right? We'll make good time if we take the shortcut Downtown."

As soon as they were in, Marina drove out of the parking lot and headed to the city, Katy Perry playing on her playlist radio. Since it was still pretty early in the afternoon, the roads were pretty clear. Marina got to the station no sweat. She parked her car in the lot and went inside with Morgan.
