Shirese sighed, throwing her head back and staring at the sky as if he hadn't said anything. "I've been watching you." Her eyes slid over to the boy, one eyebrow rising as if this was something important. "You don't do anything. Just sit around, being sad." She stood up, eyes rolling as she easily disarmed the weapon. "And I think - what kind of person can be sad, homesick, whatever you are, and not show it as well as you?"
She shook her head lightly, her bangs falling loose; she pawed at them absent mindedly in a futile attempt to get them out of her eyes. "Perhaps he'd be interesting to talk to, hmm? Get him to reveal any sort of emotion?"
She looked down, grinned. "I never said I would actually shoot you... You're very cautious, aren't you?" If she were him, she'd totally risk a bullet in the arm to talk to her. She laughed at her silent joke, pearly white teeth glinting in the pale light of the sun. "Nice meeting you, anyway."
