"Learn in childhood? Heh...I don't read up on that kind of stuff, nor did I ever get such threats. And here I was thinking that vampires were mythical things." he said with an eyebrow raised.
Movements stopped sudenly, and she looked at him. Crouching on the limb she jumped from the limb, landing gracefully. Just a few silent steps carried her uickly to him, a hand reaching out to grab his arm. Eyes narrowed she spoke, voice a hiss again.
"And what is that suppose to mean?"

He felt her hand grasping his arm as if she was planning to do something...well...harsh. He wasn't fazed by this, however. He gazed into her eyes and replied.
"I'm sure you should know what that means. Mythical, meaning, they don't really exist in the real world. But I thought wrong." he said while looking away from her.

She let go of his rm but moved so she could look him in the eye. "Oh, and what about those with powers? Are they not mythical? Thats what was thought of before modern times. You shouldnt look away from another. They might think you have something to hide." She told him. She put space between them. hands at her sides.
"True, but what about now? I mean, you are not so mythical now are you? And what is there for me to hide? Nothing, I think. If I'm a little school boy here, then there is no point in trying to hide anything." he said while looking into her eyes.

IF he decided to try a staring contest, he wouldnt win. Eyes were calm and she didnt blink, not about to look away. "Now, mythical could be anything. Everyone has something to hide, it just depends on what. Course your right, im sure I could find out if I wanted to." She grinned and shook her head.

Apparently she had a good idea as to what Deacon's power is. He wouldn't tell, even if his 'fire-eyes pretty much give it away.
