She smiled as he returned her bow. Least he could show respect. Some would laugh or wonder aloud why she had done something of the sort.

"Why do you doubt that?"

He raised an eyebrow as she asked him why he highly doubted her "service". Seriously, what kind of vampire would really serve someone, a human for that matter?

"Think about it; would you really serve a human? A human you don't even know for that matter?" he asked with a serious face.

She had her own serious face as she answered.

"Think about it. Maybe that service would help the vampire in some way. And I never said I had to serve a human, I choose who I wish to help in some way."

He kept a straight face as she replied, then he answered back again.

"Well, I never knew that vampire can have options. Great!"
he said with obviouse sarcasm. He drew closer to her, but tried not to get too close. "You say you choose who you want to help....is it really possible to have an option about anything?"

She nodded, pulling herself up so she sat normally on the branch. Blood rushing to the face wasnt good for very long.

"Of course. Just likwe I had the choice to leave before you even noticed me and you the choice to leave once you knew wha I am."

"Ah, you've a point, there. You had to option of leaving, but you stayed. I too had the choice of leaving, but I stayed. So yeah."

He sat down in the grass again, not caring if he indeed stained his clothes; he was just tired of standing.

"But...why....did you choose to stay....?"

Looking down at him she shook her head, smiling. That was something even her mind hadnt figured out, not that she was gonig to tell him.

"Sorry Fire-Eyes, thats for me to know, and you not to."

"Oh well."

He laid flat on the grass, looking up into the late night sky.

"It's awfully late."

Deacon got up from the grass as he was hit on the leg with a branch that she threw. It didn't seem to hurt him too much as simply flinched.

"Ouch.....I'm an insomniac. I don't get much sleep even if I want to."
