Rayana glared at the infuriating vampire. The black haired woman growled lowly and menacingly at Cordelia. Of course, the threat was a little empty, but what could she say. Her grip on the tree became a little white knuckled and the trunk splittered in a loud crack. She took a small second to calm herself before she fell over. She then proceeded to Bore a hole into the other's head with her glare.

"No thank you, I just love the feeling of dirt getting on my pants." She replied, voice dripping with sarcasm.

Boring a hole in one's head was more difficult than she had anticipated. Cordelia had yet to drop dead or something. She looked thoughtful at the question, while still looking angry at the same time. At this moment of the year... she could come up with a relatively safe guess.

"Around this time of the year? Probably above central america." She replied as if the existence of a floating island was everyday occurence.

She rose an eyebrow. Cordelia didn't know what self-preservation instincts were? That was a new one. She reran the reply another time in her head and yes, the younger vampire had said that for real.

"Preservation instincts is what is use to survive, like thinking before jumping headfirst into something, not provoking a vampire a few million times older than you are, that sort of thing." She replied. "We are going to gather all vampires than turn them against him and kill him."

She had said that as if it was as simple as what she had just said, buit it wasn't. At that moment though it wasn't what was on her mind. She could not get up, but she was too prideful to ask for help. Wasn't that just peachy?

"Fine." She said scornfully. "I need your help, happy now?"

Cordelia remained unphased by the glare. She merely rolled her eyes, and even the growl did nothing to threaten her. She was used to doing these things herself that they barely had any affect on her now. When told that Rayana loved the feel of dirt of her pants, she just shrugged. She knew that it had been sarcastic, but she would go along with it. "Well, if you say so," she said. "Though I'd imagine it's very uncomfortable."

"Around this time of the year? Probably above central america."

Above Central America? That didn't make sense. "Care to explain?" the fledgling asked. "What, is it like, a flying island or something?" Pfft. Like that happened every day.

"Preservation instincts is what is use to survive, like thinking before jumping headfirst into something, not provoking a vampire a few million times older than you are, that sort of thing."

HA! Well, if those were 'preservation instincts', Cordelia certainly didn't have that! She spoke to everyone however she wanted, regardless of their age. She really didn't care what they could do to her. She didn't think that they would ever have the guts to do it. "Well, I don't have that," she admitted honestly.

"We are going to gather all vampires than turn them against him and kill him."

"Sounds fun," Cordelia said with a small smirk. She hoped she would get a chance to fight... Rayana had said all vampires, after all. "Do I get to fight, then?"

"I need your help, happy now?"

She smiled in a mocking sort of way. "Mm hm," she said, leaning over and outstretching her hand for Rayana to take. Then she would help pull her up.

She simply shrugged, although stopped mid-action in a wince. That was not the most intelligent thing she had done. She truned her head to the side and managed not to get too much blood everywhere. That would have been nasty. She returned at looking at the other vampire and gave her a gaze that told not to ask about it.

"Its as comfy as the most comfortable bed." She replied just as unemotionally as Cordelia.

She raised an eyebrow at the skepticism she could feel rolling off of the other woman in waves. She now had an idea on how uneducated the other vampire was.

"Exactly, as in flying in the air, maintained there by the spells of a few very powerful gravity and weather mages." She explained.

She had said that as if it was the simplest notion in the world, that everyone should know something like that. Well, at her age, she knew a lot of things and sometimes she forgot how young one could be. She hadn't been twenty in like forever.

"Probably, and I hope you will survive it." She said matter-of-factly.

It was one thing to hate one's guts and another to wish them dead, well, Aage was an exception. She would gladly kill him anyday without any remorse if she could. Plus it would feel good, no, it would feel intoxicatng to taste his blood on her fangs, to taste so old a blood. She extended the hand that wasn't tightly clenched on the branch to Cordelia and took her hand to help herself up.

"Exactly, as in flying in the air, maintained there by the spells of a few very powerful gravity and weather mages."

Wow. That was something the twenty-year-old hadn't expected to hear. She hadn't lived her whole life in the world of magic and powers, so she still had some things to learn. Apparently, some of those things were the powers of weather and gravity mages. "I see," Cordelia said, though she obviously didn't. "But wouldn't people down here on Earth see it floating? I doubt normal people would understand the fact that a kingdom of vampires live on it, just floating above them."

"Probably, and I hope you will survive it."

Rayana had just stated that she hoped Cordelia would survive it. At this, the mother was confused. She blinked, not hiding the fact that it confused her. Even if she usually hid the fact that she didn't understand something, she wouldn't hide it in this situation. "Well, you don't have to worry," she stated. "I'll survive it. I've made it through twenty years, I can keep going."

That wasn't really amazing statement. Twenty years was nothing, especially when not even a year of her life had been spent as a vampire yet. Cordelia had absolutely nothing to brag about.

Cordelia took Rayana's hand, helping to pull her up gently so as not to hurt her further. It would have been rather funny to pull her up quickly, though, and see what kind of pain that put her in. The widow had a twisted sense of humor, that was for sure.

"And when do we plan on fighting him? Or is it just when we get enough vampires to help the cause?" she questioned.

A small smile graced the injured elder's lips at the suprise she could hear from Cordelia. She had allways loved to confuse and surprise other people. It was nearly a hobbie of her's.

"Well, they are allways over a thick storm and so are forced to move around constantly."

That and invisibility charms were used. Thats why nobody had ever seen the northern vampiric kingdom from the outside except if they had been there before. It was a way as good as any to hide an entire country from vampire hunters. It was just more efficient in doing it than most others, tracking an invisible floating island could be very difficult. As she was pulled to her feet, she wobbled unsteadily for a few seconds before regaining her bearings. She stood and was ready to continue on their journey, well as ready as she could be at the moment. Getting trashed by a vampire several thousand times older than yourself was not fun.

"We have to gather every last vampire we can find."

"Well, they are allways over a thick storm and so are forced to move around constantly."

This was so amazingly confusing. Cordelia rubbed her forehead, trying to clear up the foggy feeling she was getting from utter puzzlement. She shook her head, but she still hadn't gotten rid of it. "Well it still doesn't make sense to me," the twenty-year-old grumbled. "How does it move? What about when it's not over a storm? Wouldn't the storm affect the weather?" This was hopeless. She had no idea what was going on, and right now, didn't think she ever would. It was just so hard to fathom that there was actually a floating piece of land somewhere and no one had discovered it yet.

"We have to gather every last vampire we can find."

A black eyebrow rose slightly at that. "That shouldn't be too hard," Cordelia said. "There are a lot of vampires at this school, just think of how many there are other places. I guess it's just a matter of who gets to them first...."

"Levitation charms, invisibility charms and a whole lot of magic." She replied. "I don't know all the details, but its pretty complicated."

Well, in fact she didn't really know more than what she had just said, its not like it had ever really interrested her, she was no mage and never would be.

"Indeed it is a matter of who gets them. Lets just hope we are not too late."

She fell silent after that, there wasn't much else to say, and well, she had her lungs filled to the brim with blood, so that didn't help any in trying to talk. Sure, she couldn't drown that way, but still, not pleasant. So she continued to put on foot in front of the other and well, she didn't really pay attention anymore. When she had enough, she swiveled her head to the side and proceeded to empty her airways. Messy... Anyway, if someone was to follow them it would not be difficult to find the path they had taken.

"How long until we get to the school?" She asked.

Well, she had lost count of the time, its not like it mattered. Well, maybe it mattered a little where her bones were concerned, she wasn't a medic and didn't have a talent for replacing bones in their proper places. Especially on herself. Now that would be gruesome and very difficult to do. She placed one hand over her chest and felt for the pulverised bones there. She was used to pain, but that wasn't exactly in her usual register of pains she had endured. She would have tried to place the bones back into place if she had an inkling on how to do that, but she didn't. That would take long to heal.

"You don't know how to splint bones don't you?"
