Edward

Human Form: stands 5'11 thin agile build, long black hair, normally wears jeans and a t-shirt, has purple eyes, cat ears and a tail, has a scar under his chin, because of its placement people often don't notice it.


Cat Form: average sized cat, black fur with purple eyes

Edward is a kind but sad soul. In general he's friendly but very shy and at times distrusting, doesn't do well with social things, despite this, he's mature and organized, he's the big brother everyone wants, responsible, kind, overall very good with kids, and a hard worker. He tends to care more about others than himself, something he's developed from having to step up to take of his little brother, this tendency will likely fade a bit as he lives his new life. He's had to rely only on himself to keep himself and his brother alive, leaving him a bit distrustful of people and a bit suspicious of those who are overly kind and charitable. While it may not seem it, he's a romantic at heart but doubt's anyone would be interested in him, and at times doubts that such love is real.

Issues: Because of his past, Edward has developed a lot of issues. While having to work and raise his brother, he developed disassociation in order to deal with the terrible things he saw. Now that he's on MC the disassociation has faded and he's beginning to feel the emotional trauma, nightmares and panic attacks. He's developed a dislike of being touched by people until he gets to know them, he can shake hands and such without problem but anything more could cause panic attacks.

•Active:
Telepathy: he has mind based powers.
Basic Mind Reading: he can read the thoughts of people as well as send his own thoughts, allowing him to communicate this way.
Limits:
-The people have to be within 30 feet
-The telepathy can be blocked by people with a strong will
Tagging: and extension of his telepathy, it allows him to form a link with one person that allows him to track the person within 1 mile.
Limits:
-The other person has to allow the link, otherwise they can easily block it. While the link is active Edward is unable to read anyone's mind or send telepathic messages.
-Shielding: as the son of a protector god he's able to project an energy shield onto a person. He can only shield one person at a time, they have to be within fifty feet, it can bluck a 9mm bullet but nothing stronger. He cannot shield himself.
-Cat Form: Has all the species abilities common for a cat, but can still talk.
-Human Form: Has retractable claws and can make his cat features vanish when needed

•Passive:
-Cat Senses: He has all the senses of a cat.
-Longevity: as a demigod he'll live longer than other mortals, his aging will slow when he turns 20, and live for a few centuries.

Notes:
Ears are sensitive, petting them causes him a very pleasant sensation.
Because he's as much a human as he is a cat, he doesn't trigger cat allergies.

•His fiance is very wealthy and so he has access to that wealth if needed.

-Edward was born the son of a average cat-shifter and the Egyptian god Bast. He isn't unaware of cat shifter, and believes his mother is the woman his father eventually married.
-He grew up in the human world with his brother, in a place called Ashton city, it wasn't a pleasant place, a corrupt, crime ridden hell hole.
-But they made it buy, struggle or not they continued as a family, always supporting each other.
-Then things changed, their parents vanished, no one knows what happened to them.
-Edward stepped up, took care of his brother, did all he could. They ended up living in a junkyard.
-In the end, he took up prostitution in desperation. Many nights he'd come home crying and bruised, but he did it to take care of his brother, often giving him most of the food.
-Eventually a scout found them and brought them to MC.

-Things moved quickly for him once he reached the island, developed a relationship with an older girl which has lead to her becoming pregnant, the two have gotten engaged and are expecting twins.
