Eli sighed as he drifted off to sleep.

It didn't take him long, it was after midnight, and after working on homework for so long, he was dead tired.

Most nights, it was common for him to drift off without him having dreams, but it might have been the large amount of coffee he had. In his dream, he saw a boat. He was on the boat.

The boat was huge, and while he saw the waves crashing around him, the boat, clearly an oil tanker of some kind, did not move. The deck was rusted, and there was signs of it being well used over the years. If nothing else, this was a detailed dream location.

Thinking this, Eli knew that he was having a lucid dream. It was interesting how this happened. What could he do in this dream?

Sitting down on a chair that appeared out of nowhere, he watched as the seas calmed, and the previously stormy night transformed into a clear sky, with not a cloud in sight.

"It's like I'm a god here," he laughed.

Pallavi spent, cocooned within her petals and vines, their conciseness visited the vast sea of dreams as but a passive observer. In these dreams they saw wonderful, fantastical things far removed from reality yet many times more exciting! These dreams were a realm of infinite possibilities... able to see both the best of what people saw in themselves as well as their worst.

Here in this dream, Pallavi saw themselves not as some horrible plant-like monstrosity. In this dream their avatar took the a slightly more mature, scar-free version of herself draped in exquisite blue and gold silken robes. Her lower body instead roots, is made up of a long dress nearly 40 feet in length. While the robes look to hide a snake-like tail, it is impossible to tell as its hidden by finest cloth.

From dream to dream to hopped like surfing channels on the TV, until they find themselves lost in vast sea with nothing but ironclad ship of impossible length cresting the horizon. Curious, they flew to the direction of the ship.

Like a vast ribbon flying past the sky, Pallavi darts to the ship at ludicrous speeds flying and slips into the command bridge of the vessel. Once they are inside, they look out of the windows watching from the their higher vantage point and down upon the deck where they spied a lone... and strangely familiar figure.

To Eli, Pallavi was but a blue blur passing by as it made its way onto the ship. For some unexplained reason, they would feel that which raced by somehow... didn't belong.

He was drinking a juice as Pallavi flew over, and while he noticed the Blue blur as it passed, it felt odd. It didn't quite sit right with him that that was there. It wasn't meant to be near the ship. Eli's eyes followed it, but lost track.

Ignoring it, he went back to playing in his dreamworld. In this world, anything we wanted to happen could happen. A small stadium appeared in front of him with tiny horses racing with little jockeys. Mentally he urged the horse in last place to surge ahead and it did, causing loud cheers to erupt, some clearly losing more money than others. Eli smiled. What if Manta Carlos had this sort of event? Would shapeshifters and summoners win?

A painting appeared, even as the Stadium faded. It was of Lucan, though half-finished. With a few swipes, Eli finished it, despite not having much artistic ability outside his dreams. In this world, he could do anything. It was a beautiful painting, but something was missing, it was too easy.

Again, the blue blur came to his mind. It wasn't something of this world. Would he have as much control over it? Sighing, He looked back in the direction Eli last saw it in. The command bridge was nearby, and if nothing else, it's elevation could give him a good view of the area, Travelling to it, he hoped for a sign of the blur.

From their lofty perch, Pallavi looked to the lone figure as they summoned a miniature stadium. Unable to tell what was going on, they summoned a pair of binoculars to watch and found that there were a tiny horse race going on inside. Just as it looked that the race neared its finished, the horse in last place surged ahead much to the delight of the tiny audience. Even Pallavi couldn't help but smile.

As the race concluded, arena disappeared as the boy worked on a half finished portrait and with only few strokes there the familiar face of Lucan was now plastered on the canvas. It was a bit of surprise that of all the people the boy could have painted it was that of Lucan... a friend of hers. As the boy wrapped up the painting, they seemed to be making their way to their command bridge. Pallavi wondered if the dreamer had noticed or was somehow aware of their presence. While they usually made no commitment to directly contact with the dreamer, they had no qualm with conversation should the dreamer wish to seek her out.

So when the dreamer finally came, Pallavi was at the wheel with a hand caressing on of the handles until they heard the arrival of stepping inside.

"Oh hello there." greet Pallavi, giving them a warm, welcoming smile while her upper face was obscured by the shadow of the hood they wear over their head. "Sorry if I was causing a disturbance."

But now that they where here, there was a strange pang of recognition. Though they had never seen this person before she somehow just knew who they where.

"Elisa!? Is that you?" called out Pallavi whom now throws back their hood, revealing their face.

This was Pallavi? Eli was surprised, and for a moment, flickered, reflecting what he remembered Pallavi as, a young Naga with roots for a tail. Not this Woman with flowing robes, though she did look like an older sister to her. Was this how Pallavi saw herself?

"Yeah, this is Elisa." He said stunned, appearing as himself once again. "It's Eli though, currently. Elisa is only when I'm a girl" at this, his left side changed, looking more feminine and with longer hair. However, it didn't just reflect how Elisa looked, it showed how she wanted to look. Her hair was much longer, reaching midback, and with beautiful makeup. Her clothing didn't change, but resized on one side to fit better.

"I think I'm both right now, if it makes it easier. It feels weird, won't stay like this for too long" they shrugged, unsure if this was normal for a dream.

"What are you doing here?"

Ah, there was the Elisa that Pallavi recognized... well mostly. Her hair was a bit longer and wearing make-up but they minor differences overall. The boy version of Elisa, whom they seemed to refer to as just as Eli, was more or less how Pallavi would have imagined Elisa if they were a boy. While it was a bit amusing, Pallavi was more gracious that she was in the presence of a friend even if they were not initially aware of it.

"There is no It is not usual for people to take on the appearance of whom they envision themselves to be or whom they wish to look like." spoke Pallavi, giving a soft smile to her friend "In here you can be whom wish to be without constraint. Just have to have a bit will and belief. People and even animals always seem to have interesting perceptions about themselves. Squirrels are the most amusing I think~"

After her bit of musing, she looked to Elisa as they asked her how it was that she was here. Though it was by chance, it did warrant an explanation as she was unsure if she ever described her abilities to Elisa before.

"Oh, while I am sleeping I can enter the dreams of others... so long as they are nearby. I often drift from dream to dream... just watch as you do on the telly! Sometimes I interfer as I am now but... usually I try watch from sidelines. Dreamers have differing reactions to when they are being watched. As for why I am here, honestly it was but happenstance that I come across your dream."
