Dragon Up!

Lynn watched in amazement as Destra shifted. They took note of what parts of Destra changed and what parts had stayed the same so they could reference that. It was easier with having a reference to things when Lynn tried to shift into something new. "Great! Okay....so some dragons wings are different?" That was something new or well something Lynn haven't thought of. They weren't sure how their wings would change but considering that their wings seemed to adapt and change for their pegasustaur form then maybe it would do the same for their dragon form. If they could get a dragon form.

Lynn closed their eyes and tried to visualize themselves as a partially shifted dragon. So they needed scales, something they were able to already do, and claws. "Scales....claws...wings and a tail."

Lynn's body began to glow softly as it slowly started to shift one part at a time. Their hands seemed to grow slightly bigger as they grew claws and some silver/grey scales started to appear on their body. So far so good....
They weren't growing in height like Destra had or had nothing some major happen ye- uh....their head feathers was glowing too? It was kinda just turning white.

Lynn's body was slowly changing, they got a tail and some horns and even sprouted some very dragon like wings. They weren't like Destra's though. Lynn finally opened their eyes once they felt like this was as far as they could go without pushing themselves too hard. Their eyes were also noticeably different as they were now red and reptilian like. There were some other non noticeable changes though it would probably take them a while to figure them out.

"I um... I did it?" They grinned at Destra and oh look, they had fangs.

Lynn nodded excitedly and stood still when Destra started circling them. They were happy that they managed to get the shifting right even if it was just partial stuff like this. They weren't a full dragon but this was close enough for them....for now at least. "Um well...I don't know. Whatever dragon trai-" oh wait, Lynn started coughing a bit and then suddenly burped out a little bit white fire.

"Uh...o-okay." This was really really all new to Lynn. This was different from the other things they could shift into, different as in they can breathe fire. That was like a completely different thing on it's on. Destra instructed them to aim upwards to not set anything on fire. Lynn nodded and this time made an attempt to breath out the fire again but nothing happened. "Um..do I just cough it out again?"

"Inhale through my nose?" Well Destra made it sound simple enough. So Lynn followed the steps, inhqling through their nose and then focusing on that feeling in their chest. It was an odd feeling, they felt warm on the inside and could feel the warmth reaching up to their throat and finally out their mouth when they exhaled. There was... a lot of white fire spewing out of their mouth which resulted in Lynn going into a coughing fit right after it all left. They were fine though and just started laughing.

"THAT WAS GREAT! Though...I think I forced too much out."
