Laelynn leaned heavily against Jett, loosely wrapping her arms around him. She listened quietly, sniffling on occasion. Jett was probably right. She'd just overreacted to Malek's inexperience because of her own. Malek wasn't a bad person... He was just as bad at romantic affection as she was. Laelynn stepped away from Jett, drying off her cheeks.
"You're right... I'm sorry if I bothered you. It's just a childish problem. I should have been able to handle it myself, but I guess... I'm not really trained to handle things like this. Thank you."
Laelynn ducked her head in an awkwardly nervous bow to Jett, before giving him a very tight hug.
"I haven't had anyone think of me as anything asides from a close friend or family for... Well, ever. All I've ever known are relationships that succeed from the start."
