"Indeed," replied Aswan simply through gritted teeth as she slung her bag off her shoulder, rummaging inside for her notebook. "It seems so." Aswan figured that Mindy, like herself, was none too well-adjusted to social situation, although she recognized that she was being, quote, "a friendly neighborhood bitch". No, it will not work, she thought to herself. If she was constantly going to be rude, then Aswan would do her best to ignore it, if only for information's sake.
"Amazing... your perceptiveness knows no bounds. How truly observant you are..."
Gritting her teeth, she nodded, and kept on, until she found what she was looking for - a faded legal pad, the pen hooked across the top looking to have been generously used. A smile flashed across Aswan's face as she pulled it out, unhooking the pen and quickly jotting down a title in neat handwriting.
"Go on."
As soon as Mindy started to list off her main attributs and powers, Aswan's hand kept even pace with her speech, noting down everything she said, then comparing it to her own powers. "Hmm... Quite interesting. " When she finished, she dropped the pen and, stretching her hands out, she took a breath, ready to recite her own powers.
"Well, my powers differ greatly from yours. So far, I have discovered the ability to phase through objects and, to a lesser extent, people, the ability to become invisible at will, and the ability to make other things invisible at will as well. I think I may be able to develop my abilities to include hovering, however, so i am looking to improve upon that. Lastly, human contact... It is not ideal for me to come into contact with humans, as the contact with living beings induces a feeling of shock and/or nausea. My hypothesis on this is that the trauma experienced through death is enough to cause a lasting impact that affect the way the dead see the living, leading to a physical and possibly psychological reaction from a ghost's body, though that is merely speculation. In the meantime, menthol and anything with ginger seems to nullify the effects a bit, but I have yet to see an effective remedy in the long-term. "
Another sigh, as the brunette, too, adjusted her glasses. "I died via lethal poison in a drink. If I may ask, how did you die? The circumstances may well have affected our states of being, as you hypothesize."
