Danica snorted and rolled her eyes. Guys were such IDIOTS! She whacked him on the arm.

"First, DUH SHE WONT SEE YOU! She's got a boyfriend! Second, it wasn't his fault he 'totally ignored her for a month!' He got hurt!"

She laughed exasperatedly. (...is that a word?) "Sorry, Ross, but you're going to have to give up unless they suddenly break up!" Inwardly she smacked herself. "And don't try to make them break up, please."

"Sorry, she's not 'the girl' anymore. You're gonna have to move on, Ross," Danica said, and sighed. Boys are such idiots...

"Heck yes, I'm right. This is Danica you're talking to. I tend to be right more than ninety-nine percent of the time." She grinned.

As if reading his mind, Danica raised her eyebrows warningly. "Most people think I'm 'rude and obnoxious.' I'm just... sarcastic."

She examined a dark blue fingernail, moving it so the glitter shimmered. "You're not going to get all depressed because Mimosa doesn't like you, right?

"Ha, ha," Danica said, rolling her eyes. "Not bad for a first attempt. Not used to sarcasm, are you?" She laughed though, she wasn't serious.
