Artan move your furry little butt! Sagari called behind her playfully to her best friend in the whole world, well her best friend that wasn't a person. Arty had always been there for her and always would be there for her, they were bonded after all.
Sagari Annabell Nianya! Do not get that far ahead of me! I don't need you plumetting off of any cliffs just because you are being careless! You know there would be no way for me to help you.
Sagari moaned, she hated taking Arty hiking, but no one else would go with her Shasta was sick and Sagari didn't really know anyone else around here.
She sighed and plopped down on a rock waiting for Arty to catch up. When he did he was huffing and puffing. She forgot how small his legs were sometimes and scooped him up into a hug. He closed his eyes and relaxed trying to catch his breath. She smiled and remembered how much she loved Arty as a child, how much she still did.

Boy was it a nice day or what? The perfect day for hiking. Shell trotted around the mountains, exploring if anything. he'd never admit to someone that he was slightly lost. Either way, it's not like anyone was around. Getting lost wouldn't bring him down, because the good thing about being lost was that you always found new areas and such.

After a few hours of hiking, Shell was almost beat, so he he practically collapsed onto a rock and rested for a while. He sprayed a bit of water in his face to cool him off before deciding to continue on up the mountain. It wasn't long before he heard the voice of another person. A girl. As he walked farther up, he noticed she was talking to someone, since he heard two voice, but yet he only saw one person...weird.

When the girl came into complete view, Shell saw her hugging a little bear. He smiled, remembering his own bear he used to have when he was little, but he didn't carry it around with him now. "Hey."

Sagari looked up and smiled at the man, Arty automatically tensed into doll mode, an old habit that Sagari had told him to stop, she was tired of hiding him from the world and what a better place for him to expose himself than a school for people like her and him?
She stood up and faced the young man.
Hi! I'm Sagari, this is Arty. she said and shook Arty gently until one of his eyes popped open and he waved a small paw and the boy. Arty was terribly overprotective and rarely let anyone, strike that, any boys around Sagari if he could help it.
What's your name? Are you hiking too? It's a great day, isn't it? she said and some how managed to grin even wider, on her small face the large grin looked somewhat goofy.

Hi! I'm Sagari, this is Arty.

Shell smiled and stepped closer in order to greet Sagari properly. Withhis hand extended for her to shake, he said, "Hey Sagari, I'm Ben. But everyone calls me..." he trailed off slightly when he realized that the bear waved. ..Shell. Hi...Arty," Shell said, trying quickly to pick up where he left off. Maybe the bear was mechanical or something, not real. It looked like a simply teddy bear... He thought while observing the bear with a cocked eyebrow.

What's your name? Are you hiking too? It's a great day, isn't it?

The boy instantly put his attention back towards Sagari and not the odd little bear. "Yeah, today was just calling for a hike in the mountains...so here I am!" he laughed lightly as Sagari smiled in a slightly goofy way.

Sagari smiled when she realized he was looking at Arty, a giggle escaped her lips and she covered her mouth. Arty looked up at her with a warning expression daring her to tell how he was created.
Oh relax, Artan. I brought him to life with my powers. she said with another smile, taking his hand and shaking it slightly, she wasn't much for touching, just incase she slipped, or got too excited and did something she hadn't meant to.
She took her hand back quickly.
So Shell, do you go to the academy? she asked curiously still holding Arty in her arms.

Oh relax, Artan. I brought him to life with my powers.

"Really? Wow, that's really cool." Shell looked at Sagari as she quickly took back her hand after shaking his. Maybe she was uncomfortable with touching or something. He shrugged the thought away, knowing it didn't matter.

So Shell, do you go to the academy?

Shell gave a small nod and said, "Yeah, been here about a month or so. What about you? Are you new?" He'd never seen Sagari around the school campus before, so he had a feeling she might possibly be new. But then again, he hadn't seen a lot of students from the campus, but either way, she was probably new just by asking the question.

Sagari shrugged a little at his second question, she'd been there a few months, she just didn't spend much time indoors, she didn't like being confined let alone around that many people, if something happened, she could kill someone, or herself.
I've been there a while. Mind if I ask what your powers are? Since, you kind of know what mine can do now. she said grinning towards Arty and poking his furry cheek. Arty smacked her finger away with his paw and glared at her crossing his arms and staring at her face, trying to make her feel bad for giving away so much information freely.
Even though it was modern day, gypsies were still very secretive, although that had never stuck with Sagari. Not one gypsy lesson ever had, she was just too bubbly and kind to keep secrets, or lie to others. Let alone steal or cheat.

Shell nodded, slightly, knowing that it was only fair he told her his powers, since she told him hers. And besides, it wasn't anything shameful to say one's powers, so he wasn't quite sure why Arty got all mad over it. Though Shell couldn't refrain from a little chuckles when he smacked Sagari's hand away and crossed his arms. "I can control fire. It's nothing special, since it's something very common. But I'm also part dragon."

Shell conjured up a small ball of flame in the middle of his palm and said, "Watch." He slowly shaped it into a miniature bear, sending it off to squiggle its way around Sargai and Arty. He liked making little fire things dance because it always cheered him up and the way they'd dance was always funny. Hopefully Sagari and Arty would think so too.

Sagari gasped and smiled as the little bear danced it's way around her and Arty, she giggled when it neared her own little bear and circled around to watch it, laughing and smiling the whole time. She turned back around to face Shell and grinned at him.
Look, Arty! she said, even though she was still looking at Shell. It's your cousin! she giggled after she said it and kissed Arty on the forehead gently before setting him down on the ground.
That's amazing, Shell! So much cooler than my powers. she said and then gasped, covering her mouth with her hand and looking down at Arty mouthing the word sorry to him. She knew that he knew that she wasn't talking about him, but mentioning her powers always made Arty feel bad let alone her saying she didn't like them, he blamed himself for her loosing her life force just to give him a soul of his own.

Shell laughed lightly as Sargari spun around to watch his little bear dance.Good thing she liked it, he was hoping she did. When Sagari set Arty down he motioned for his bear to fade off, evaporating into a thin smoke and rising up into the blue sky, gone.

That's amazing, Shell! So much cooler than my powers.

"Thanks," Shell said with a shrug, and then added, "But yours is also really cool. I mean, I'd much rather have your unique power than something as common as controlling fire." Then Sagari gasped, and Shell had no idea why, but he had a feeling like it had something to do with Arty. Especially because she looked down at him and mouthed 'sorry'. He knew it was most likely none of his business, but he couldn't help it. He stepped a bit closer to them and asked, "Is everything...okay?"
