Elizabeth was quite happy with all of this. She wasn't sure if at this point their friendly chatter had turned into flirting at this point, but she was enjoying it all the same.

"I haven't had many experiences here yet, but I hope to get some in the future. And so far you are my favorite experience here. Take that as you will~"

Maybe she took the flirting a bit too far, but she was hoping he would give her a amusing reaction.

He smiled as she said that he was the best experience so far, he may have blushed just a bit, but it was barely noticeable. "I'm afraid I'm the lucky one..." and he meant it, he'd greatly enjoyed talking to her. "I came here thinking I'd just drop a little money off and leave.....I'm happy I was wrong," he smiled his eyes glowing a bit brighter with his happiness. "So many people come here.....just to make themselves look better....you come because you care," it was truly nice talking to her. "If you don't mind me saying but I've really liked talking to you."

Elizabeth blushed a bit, coughing awkwardly. Well, she thought there was a blushed, but it seemed to have backfired on her a bit. This was definitely not the reaction she expected, but it seemed that he wasn't one that was easily embarrassed by words.

"Well, you are quite good at making a girl feel appreciated, that's for certain. I have enjoyed our conversation as well, and I am just as glad that you care about this to donate money as well, Aedan."

He smiled, "I do what I can," he always did, even if he went without a few things he was just happy it was going to a good cause. He smiled and chuckled, "every bit counts righ." Aedan's family had never been wealthy despite his father's skills in genetics, so he had grown up learning to help others, "I can't do much, but I try." He smiled at her, "and if I hadn't come down here...well...I wouldn't have met you, and I think that would be unacceptable."

Elizabeth nodded, smoothing out her skirt a little.

"Of course it would be unacceptable. It would be horrible to not know me."

It is a real shame not everyone knows her.

"So, on a different subject, what do your parents do? And what made you decide to come here to the school? I figure it has to do with your powers, but you seems like you weren't that interested in mastering them before our conversation."

Of course it went to that, it was a natural subject to go to, but it wasn't a easy subject for him. But he'd been trying to be more open about his problems, and this girl seemed nice. "I'm afraid....I lost my family....around two years ago." He sighed a bit, it wasn't easy, "my father was a geneticists, my mother a musician, I had a sister too...I miss them," he gave her a smile to show that he was ok, or at least trying to be.

"As for my powers well.....there not natural," he decided it was best to not go into to much detail on how he got them. "So...when it was all said and done...I didn't have anywhere else to go....so the British military sent me here."

Elizabeth was a bit surprised to hear about his family's unfortunate end. Though, it did make sense. He does seem the kind of person who would hide this kind of information of others.

"I'm sorry to hear that, Aedan. I am glad that you are able to stay strong with that and help others."

She reached out, putting a hand on Aedan to give him a little comfort.

He nodded and gave a small smile as she tried to comfort him, "it hasn't been easy......but I'm trying to live my life as best I can." He kept his smile up, luckily his PTSD wasn't acting up today, "and yea, helping others is always something I think is important and takes priority over other things." He'd always believe that others come first, others may think it strange someone with his problems putting others first, but it was how he was.

He smiled, "life goes on, it hasn't easy...but you have to keep moving forward." He smiled and chuckled, "I've been trying to focus on the things I've gained instead of the things I've lost.....and today I got to talk with a charming, lovely young woman and that's pretty great."

Elizabeth nodded, listening in carefully. She was glad he was able to stay positive and all, but she was starting to get a bit worried. He seemed like the kind of guy who doesn't usually talks about his own problems and feelings, which is fine in some cases, but not in one like this.

"Well, I am glad you are able to move forward. If you ever need someone to talk about your problems, do not be afraid to ask, I will be happy to help out."

He nodded and smiled, "thank you. I apologize if me talking about it bothered you, I honestly don't talk about it much." He decided to change the subject and gave her a smile to show he was ok, the glow of his eyes brightening a bit.

"I like it here in Manta Carlos, so much to see and do," he chuckled, "I just like wandering around sometimes just to see what I find. I walk down the market once every few because theres always something new there."
