Shiro may not have been sure what was going to happen. Heck Tadashi himself wasn't entirely sure how well they were going to get along but he did know one thing. He was going to do everything he could to make his sibling comfortable and try to be close to them. Tadashi admired Shiro for a few things he had noticed during the short few times he had interacted with them. They seemed to be a lot better at being social with other people. Sure Tadashi talked to people but he tended to be quieter and linger on the fringes a lot more.
Tadashi was a little confused why Shiro kept thanking him. As far as he was concerned he was just doing the right thing- the only thing. Talking to your sibling wasn't supposed to be a big deal but then again it had been a pretty big deal working up the courage himself just to come here for this chat. "Of course. I'm happy to talk with you whenever you want. Even if i'm already doing something." Tadashi was doing his best to just keep a casual smile on his face. This chat wasn't going that bad even if they were both pretty nervous. In fact Tadashi was pretty sure Shiro was more bothered by it than he was now that Tadashi knew Shiro didn't hate him.
Another thought did hit Tadashi about something they could maybe do together. It certainly wasn't as fun as some sort of trip into the city but it might just be a little easier depending on what Shiro liked to do. "Hey since we're in the same grade maybe we can study together or help each other out with homework sometime. I hate doing it but at least we could be miserable together." Ok so miserable was probably a bit of an exaggeration but he was hoping Shiro would recognize it as a bit of a joke.
Probably text? Well it was a start anyway. "I promise i'll always respond to your texts. Just might be a little bit if I happen to be a cat when you text," he chuckled and hoped that didn't somehow come across as mean or rude. Of course Shiro would know that a cat couldn't text very well. He too wanted to keep their communication open. Whether that included Tomo in the mix or not would be completely up to how comfortable Shiro was with it. Tadashi could keep things separate if he had to. He wouldn't like it but he would do it.
