Do you EVER sleep?!

It had to be well past midnight probably around 3 or 4 in the morning. Some would call it a "ungodly hour" but Sagari always had had trouble sleeping. You could call her an insomniac.
She had wandered to the first place she had found that wasn't a bathroom, the lounge. She was practicing hand walking, just like everyone else would....right?
Artan had crawled up onto a couch and had clicked on the T.V. letting out quite a large yawn, for his small size, he protested.
Sagariiii...why can't we go back to the room? I'm exhausted!
Oh, Arty. Stop whining. Besides you can sleep while I'm in class tomorrow. Sagari retorted and returned her focus to hand walking.

Shasta walked down the hallways. She'd arrived a few hourse before hand, and wasn't much in a sleeping mood. It was almost like reverse jet lag.
She stopped in her tracks when she heard a couple of people talking,
well hello, students she thought and grinned. Readjusting her duffle bag she walked into the light of the lounge. She stood blinking for a moment, her hand above her eyes. When her eyes finally adjusted her looked to see a girl walking on her hands and a small teddy bear staring at her.
So...this is Starlight Academy...

Shasta felt a presence behind her, surprise coursed through her body.
Hello there... she said and turned around to see a small boy.
So, does anyone ever sleep around here?

Sagari, had stood at this point and tied her skirt back on and looked over.
Hello, small boy, how are you? she said and smiled at him with warmth.

Sagari walked over to the boy
So, little boy, what is your name? Unless you would perfer something along the lines of 'Sport'. or 'Champ'. she said teasingly and smiled.
My name is Sagari. I just got here a few days ago, are you new? she said, directed towards both people in the room.
Sagari remained crouched in front of the boy but looked over at the young lady.

Shasta gave Sagari and crooked grin, and a shrug.
I just got here a few hours ago. My name is Shasta. I haven't really seen much of the school but it seems okay to me. she said and walked over to the couch that Arty was on and looked at him. He was pretty cute.
Cute bear... she remarked but was taken aback when the bear looked up at her and smiled.
Name is Artan, young miss, Arty by those who know me well. And thank you for the compliment.

Sagari followed the boys eyes to Arty and giggled. Atry was confusing if not terrifying to those who met him, so it seemed. Arty had never had exposure to humans before she came to this school.
He's a little scary I suppose, at first, but he's really sweet, and super cute. I'm sure you'll like him once you get to know him! she said trying to get the boy to open up, although it didn't seem to be working....

Shasta looked over at the young woman and the small boy.
What is up with this school? The first two people I meet seem to be whack jobs and the bear is TALKING, not that he isn't cute but...come on... nothing seemed to make sense anymore...
