What was that stuff coming out of the man? At the moment, it honestly didn't matter to the William trapped in his own body. As long as it stopped the virus from trying to continue and, what, eat him? It woiuldn't matter that he hurt him, as long as the man could get out alive and hopefully to the hospital.

Unfortunately, as far as William was concerned, it was already too late. The man had been bitten and infected.

Still he tried, managing to wrench the body back and causing it to stumble away a few feet, only to have the virus reign control and push him away once more. To anyone on the outside, he honestly looked like a zombie, bumbling blindly and unsteady on his feet.

Meanwhile, he watched the man stumble, clinging to the dumpster as his one blackened arm seemed to tear through it like paper. He wasn't normal and he could fight back, but he seemed focused on getting away.

How fun.

Another growl, guttural and animal, and he lurched forward once more. Ignoring the blackened arm, he once again grabbed at the man's shoulders and neck, one foot swinging out to kick his knees away from under him.

This was no longer about propagating; with any luck, the people who came to investigate the body would become infected. No, the virus seemed to take the durability of this man as a personal slight.

"Oh for fuck's sake!" Vincenzo huffed as he was knocked down and pulled, dragging a large gash on the dumpster as soon as he was pulled close. The escape attempt made him even bolder in his attempts to fight. Adrenaline was his diesel fuel. He thrashed violently from underneath, kicking in every direction that he could.

He could feel black ridges begin to break through his spine. He wasn't going to last long. He could feel Algrogath trying to take over and overriding his will, but he was assured at least that he built up his mental fortifications, and that he went down fighting. He wasn't going to be one of those idiots that ran at the sight of a monster.

"Don't get too rough with me, big guy. I know I'm irresistible but this is no way to treat a date." Vincenzo readied the sharp ends of his claws and, from his position, began stabbing William several times in the chest with his sharp fingers while the other was pushing him back. There were black spots spreading in his skin it turned out. His vision was gone entirely.

Just a little more.

The man was starting to regain some life and somehow, the virus knew on a deep level that it wasn't because of the zombification effects. It happened quickly, but not within a minute or two and those black things were definitely not its own.

But the man was, as he said, irresistible. He wouldn't be letting him get away from him unscathed, not by a long shot, and a last ditch effort needed to be made before he got killed himself.

At the first stab, he began to 'regurgitate' immediately. He basically vomited on his face, only it was less undigested food and more bile, pus and blood. That would surely get somewhere that could potentially infect him, whether it was his eyes, nose, inside his mouth, the shoulder wound...

The blond's fingers tore through his chest, mangling whatever he had in there. Of course, in this state, he didn't need them to be alive but massive bodily damage wasn't something he was enjoying either. A tug and he lurched back with the push, stumbling a few feet before his back hit the opposite brick wall.

If he didn't look like a walking murder victim before, he sure did now.

Bloodshot and milky eyes remained fixated on the man, a wheezing groan coming from his own chest.

This was working! As much as Vincenzo wanted to feel good about it, it was really hard given that this fucker just vomited the most god awful burning bile all over his pretty face. Gross. Sick. It was getting everywhere.

Eventually, the creature backed away, and it took all of Vincenzo's strength to pull himself on his feet. He clutched the side of the dumpster.

"You..." And he had to pause, tasting the disgusting, burning, salty liquid in his mouth. He spat out a few times and stared the zombie in the eyes with his claw raised, sharp and covered in blood. He spat. The vomit left a very obvious aftertaste in his mouth. "I'm going to rip you apart — I..."

Vincenzo fell sideways. The last thing he noticed was motion and the loud thud of his head hitting the pavement.

He stayed on the ground, dead as far as anybody as concerned.

Ooooooooh, perhaps he'd gone a little too far this time.

No! No no no no no... The faint whisper of William's sane mind, curled up in the back and just... Gone. No, he'd killed someone! Not again. But at least he hadn't been slowly eaten away by the virus. This one looked like blunt trauma, like a whole heap of pain before he finally collapsed.

The William trapped in his own body had already burst into tears, but it seemed that the virus was impartial. A pity that the man hadn't survived long enough to be infected, but he'd received quite a bit of damage himself.

He growled once more, turning away from the corpse and beginning to drag himself down the street again. Who was next?
