"What fun would that be?" Eliana asked. She barely glanced back at Chloe. Unfortunately, there were no jet skis with keys, and Eliana wasn't sure how, or if one could hotwire them. With a defeated huff, she turned. "I'll pay for the jet ski, but I still wanna steal that couples." Her smile returned at the mere idea of it. "You could drive. What fun will today be without a little theft? Whaddya say?"

"...Uh, alright." Chloe sounded less than enthused about stealing that jet ski from those guys.

As they walked down to the jet ski rental place, she struggled to formulate an acceptable reason not to steal that jet-ski. She settled on the DSU. "I... I know this sounds square as fuck, but I do kind of need to keep my reputation relatively clean. At the very least, free of, uh, felony charges that would stick to me."

She sighed. She was cramping Eliana's style, and she knew it.

"I have long-term plans with the Demonic Student Union back at SA. Basically I'm trying to make it easier for demons to operate by giving them good PR and breaking down stereotypes and stuff. Getting a felony on my record, uh... it doesn't do me any favors. Cause I kinda... uh, I founded it and I run the thing." The implication here was that she would definitely get caught if she was involved in this theft. She was probably the only person on the island to match her description.

Eliana slowed, but it was such subtle change that most people wouldn't have realized it. She looked thoughtfully out to sea, where the couple was still jet skiing together. "If you don't wanna steal the jet ski, just come out and say it, Frito-Lay. It's fine. Not the first time someone has told me not to commit a crime around them." She looked at Chloe; her grin had fallen to something a little softer. "Besides, I got you to walk around in your underwear; I think that counts for something."

As they reached their destination, Eliana fished her wallet from her jeans. "You still wanna drive the thing, though, right?" She paused as she was told the cost, and threw some bills on the counter. "I mean, I'm a total rockin' driver, but I think you'd have more fun, and feel safer, behind the figurative wheel."

Eliana picked them out a metallic jet ski with blue seating and orange flame painting. When she saw it, she just gazed lovingly at it. "God, what a beaut. I mean congrats to it, for feeling all bold in that orange flame. More what you might imagine a children's toy to look like, but it just wears it on its sleeve"

Chloe shrugged when she was first asked about driving. "I've never driven anything before in my life, and those pedals are probably made for human feet. I'd just be stressed out instead of having fun if I drove." Eliana could drive like a bat out of hell and it would still make Chloe feel safer than driving it herself. "Besides, if I'm not holding onto the handlebars I get to hold on to you instead."

She laughed at Eliana's description of the jetski she picked out. "Yeah, it's like a kid painted it up trying really hard to make it look cool. It ends up being more endearing and cute, and it gets really mad when you try to tell it how cute it is."

She straddled it near the back end, giving Eliana space to get on. "I'm not cute!" she whined in a mocking tone, like a childs
's. "I'm edgy and cool. Can't you see these flames on the side?"

Eliana didn't fight Chloe's decision not to drive. She jumped on the front part of the jet ski, starting it up and laughing as it roared to life. "You better hold on tight. Gonna be making all the sharp turns." She waited for Chloe to get situated before revving the jet and lurching forward. "They say once you get passed one hundred thirty miles per hour every other notch is just a number. Too bad this only goes to sixty-five," Eliana called over the engine and roar of water.

At first, Eliana beelined toward the horizon, tittering like a child the whole way. Maybe she enjoyed herself more than she should have, but Eli had always liked uncontrollable speed and the wind in her hair. When they were a mile from shore, she took a sharp turn and spun them in a semi-circle, so they rode in the direction of the beachside amusement park.

Eliana didn't mind that her clothing, specifically her leather boots and gloves, were being soaked through. The demoness wasn't a fan of the cold, but she liked water, even chilly water. That had to do with the unpredictability and freedom of movement it gave.

Chloe held on tight to Eliana, her arms wrapped around the demoness's waist.

This was more fun than she had expected it to be. It was fun to fly over the waves like this, hair blowing in the wind, adrenaline coursing through her veins. It was liberating, in a way.

On top of that, the rumbling of the engine between her thighs and the bouncing of the jet ski on the waves was... uh, it was having a definite physiological effect on her. An effect that was taking her completely by surprise. She hadn't even considered the possibility that riding around in a jet ski would get her off, and now here she was. Out in the open, holding on to Eliana, and shivering for reasons that had nothing to do with the cold.

The turn caught her off guard too. She nearly flew off the machine and pulled Eliana with her. She started laughing as their course straightened out again. "I didn't know these could make turns that sharp!"

Chloe was going to be in for all the major surprises in regards to what her body would find physically appealing. Eliana would have gone into weird detail about it, had she been told and not on a jet ski doing all manners of dangerously crazy things.

"Oh yeah!" Eli called to Chloe, her voice nearly drowned out by the sounds of water and metal colliding. "Donut time," she warned before spinning the jet ski in a circle. She did this long enough to begin making herself dizzy before she veered back onto a straight path.

A short while later, Eliana would slow the jet ski to a halt a good distance from shore. She had stopped the jet, so one side of it was facing the sunset. She swung her leg over so she could sit facing the horizon, where the colors (pink and orange) clashes against the sparkling blue water.

"That's the kind of picture a photography would take," Eliana said dreamily."

Chloe was leaning her head against Eliana's shoulder at this point, dizzy from the donuts they had just spun through.

"That was pretty fun," she remarked, "But let's just... let's not do donuts again." She laughed. "I'm about to fall off this friggin thing." She groped at Eliana. For balance, of course. She was fine just sitting here for a while, watching the sun set, rocking her hips along with Eliana's to compensate for the waves.

She sighed. "I remember thinking I'd never get to see a sunset like this. Or go anywhere near the ocean again. I thought I'd just... end up hiding under a rock my whole life or something. What I'm trying to say is that getting to do this kind of thing is really special for me."

Chloe pulled herself closer to Eliana, then had a scary thought. "I'm sorry are my horns poking you in the neck?" She felt like they probably were, but she couldn't feel much through her horns.

Eliana laughed good-naturedly when Chloe suggested they don't do any more donuts. She didn't want Chloe going home sick, so she gave a nod of agreement before throwing an arm around the other woman to hold her close. "Deal," she said, unperturbed by Chloe feeling her up. She didn't react much to it, beyond a knowing look and a little mischevious wink.

"It's special for me, too. I don't usually slow down to enjoy things like this, but I'm always glad when I do."

Chloe's horns were jabbing into Eliana's neck. She didn't mind in the slightest; sometimes Eliana even enjoyed being shot. Pain was an aphrodisiac; that seemed common among her siblings, too.

"Yeah, but don't worry about it. I like it. It's like a love stab." Eliana shifted so she could stare at Chloe as Chloe looked to the sunset. Eli's gaze was intense as she committed the image to memory.

"Hey," she crooned, "I hope you have someone telling you how beautiful you are every day."

Chloe assumed that Eliana was joking; who would like getting stabbed? She chuckled out a quiet "Sorry" and moved her horns away from Eliana.

Eliana must have been talking about Cheeto or something, right? She hoped Cheeto was telling her how beautiful she was? The comment caught the half-demon off guard. "Uh, n-not every day," she stammered. "Like sometimes we have school projects or our class schedules don't mesh together. So I don't always..."

It took her a second to realize that Eliana was just trying to be romantic, and that she didn't need to be justifying her relationship with Cheeto to her. She sighed - more at herself than anything else.

"Ok, wow. Excuse me while I ruin our romantic moment with my insecurities." She tried to laugh it off.
