Klef sheepishly lowered her head, she should have known better than to have just assumed that James lost too. Quite frankly it was the opposite most of the time for the girl barely over five feet, and even after losing again she still got placed in detention. She looked a little roughed up, but couldn't testify with her injuries since she could not tell where she got hurt.
" Just the usual, typical Tuesday afternoon, I think I just let my guard down too fast," she said, as if she got into fights regular when she actually had no idea what she was talking about. Usually, the cause of her injuries was being accidentally pushed down the stairs or falling down the hallway. Things could be different if she just swallowed her pride and let others know she could not see, but her ego was more fragile than her body.
" Yeah, we're stuck alright," Klef repeated with a half assed smile. This could be one long afternoon if things stayed as painfully awkward as they were. She stretched her legs out again, there had to be something to do besides talk, right?
" I... um... can't exactly do homework... haven't figured out how I'm going to do that yet..." She mumbled. If she wanted to pass the ninth grade, she would eventually have to cave in and tell an adult. Then again, her lack of sight let her put off homework, going back to actually studying had no appeal.
" Um... we could always play rock paper scissors, you're going to have to tell me which one you chose though."
