Iaemor couldn't help but chuckle at Cairo comment about his body temperature. Not exactly due to the words she used, but other words she could have used and their double meanings. Turning around completely as she nudged the raven toy now in sight. Commenting on it. He smiled at her, and gently picked it up leaning forward. "I thought so. I hoped that you liked it." He smirked leaning closer towards her, and holding the small plush animal and placing onto her chest through the blankets.

Kneeling on the edge of the bed, he laughed in a low tone. "And will always be willing for a hug to keep you warm." Bringing the hand that place the raven atop her, upwards and putting the back of his hand to her forehead. Allowing her to feel the heat from him once more, before sliding his hand to burst some of her hair away.

Then he stood up from the bed, and crossed the room, gently taking a seat in a chair she had in the room. "And I wasn't talking about the toy that time." He added with a smirk on his lips and then leaning back in the chair to rest, while also being present to keep a watchful eye over her. Not knowing how extreme the issues with her health was.

"I like it. And now you're never getting it back. 'S mine now."

Cairo yawned, sleepiness starting to catch up to her but it was still too cold. If she fell asleep like this, chances are she wouldn't be able to move in the morning. the back of his palm was too hot, like touching coals, and she drew away from him. Instead, she grabbed his arm through the blanket before he could go.

"Thermostat... still cold. Turn it up please? Much too cold... bad for health."

Cairo released him with a little bit of reluctance, squirming to pull another blanket over top of her and the plush raven now hidden on the inside of her shirt. Poor guy. He was wooing her with the intent of getting a good lay, but instead he got to play nursemaid or whatever it was he was doing for a sick little girl. Kind of pathetic on both their parts, mostly on hers.

Iaemor hadn't actaully expected Cairo to grab him as he tried to see how cold he was, instead expecting her to swat his hand away. Though as she released him, he nodded simply in understanding and turn to look around the room. It took him a moment to spot the thermostat she spoke of, but once he had he strode over towards it quickly. Illicit temptation, due to his desires fill him. It would have been so simple to turn the thermostat down instead of up. Causing her to get colder, and try to drive her into his arms for warmth. Like other approaches, he knew that it was one that would have a negative outcome in the long run. Sighing he forced the temptation away, and turned the thermostat up a few degree, maybe more then he should just to be on the safe side.

"There. Hopefully that will help with the cold." He spoke mid-turn to facing Cairo backing the bed. Before shifting his gaze to the chair he had planned to sit in before. Shaking his head at himself though, he instead decided on a different course of action. Heading over back towards the bed, and sitting on the floor. Then he leaned his back into the bed frame gently, so not to shake it. The change was three fold in its reasoning.

One if she required aid during the night, it would be easier for her to gain his attention if he was by the bedside. He didn't know if her health issues could end up causing a lack of breath, but being so close she was more likely to be heard, or could shake him if required. It wasn't as if he had to sleep, but he was likely to zone out eventually. The second reason, was that if the heat from turning up the thermostat, was somehow not enough then, it wouldn't be hard for her to scoot closer towards him and at least get some of his body heat. Though he wasn't much expecting it. The last reason, was one that was odd for Iaemor. He simply desired to be close to her, not out of any true romantic thought, but for the fact she was one of the few not to fall quickly for his charms, while still also tolerating his company.

Pathetic indeed.

Cairo yawned agian, noting the sound of the heat starting up. It wouldn't be much longer until she was warm enough to sleep comfortably. She also didn't fail to note how the demon was taking his role as caretaker very seriously. His position on the floor was curious, but understandable. He was too hot for her to be comfortable next to, but he wanted to stay close incase she strangled herself agian. How cute. Weakly, she inchwormed her way to the side of the bed.

"I know the floor isn't as comfy as it looks. Trust me. Just bring a chair over here or something."

Cairo turned away, curling inwards to preserve her body heat, and fell asleep just like that. Over the course of the night she shifted and moved, some how gravitating into positions that would choke her, suffocate her, or drop her on the floor. It was as if the curse knew there was someone looking after her and was purposefully making things difficult.

Iaemor sighed and then chuckled to himself lightly, as Cairo told him to bring the chair over rather then sitting on the floor. Looming over his shoulder at her, he smiled briefly as she turned away in order to try and get to sleep. Standing Iaemor did as he was suggested, lifting the chair with ease and bringing it to the bedside. Placing it side by side with the bed, rather back to it like when he had been sitting on the floor. Leaning back to relax but keeping his ears open for any issue from the sheets.

As some time passed Iaemor found himself starting to grow bored just sitting there. Giving into the impule to drink to pass the time. Taking his flask from a pocket he casually sip it and tried to enjoy himself. His peaceful drink though was aburtly brought to a halt. Shifting her sleep, Iaemor saw her about to fall from the bed. Leaping into action quickly in order to prevent her fall and prevent her from being awoken by it. However though with the flask in hand at the time, as he caught her it was knocked from his grasp to the ground.

Sighing once he had helped her, he retrieved his flask and put it away, as somehow it had landed in a fashion to have poured out and cover the carpet. He wasn't the sort of person to clean though. The stain wouldn't do any lasting damage he was sure, and so he slipped back into his seat to watch over her. Through the night he stopped multiple mishaps from the young women. Occasionally catching glimpse of her, which stirred his desires and forced him to fight them back down once again. Not remembering when he had purposly fought against his nature so much in a single night. Hoping that she wouldn't be mad about the smell of alcahol in the morning, even though it wasn't really that strong.

Cairo's eyes blinked open for the second time, to the gentle buzzing of her alarm. the alarm.. curious. She rarely actually slept until the alarm was set to go off. maybe it was because she had woken up in the middle of the night for an unwanted guest. Who, she noted, was currently holding her hand from where he was sitting in the chair. With a little shriek, Cairo yanked her hand away from him and sat up, visibly angry but only because she was panicking. SHe knew it had been her fault. She was very certain it had been her fault. How much luck had she transferred to him? Would he be involved in some ghastly accident? Would he die?

Cairo relaxed a little as she saw that his hair was just full of rats nests and cowlicks. nothing dangerous. He was fine. She flopped back into bed, wincing as she knocked her head against the wall.

"Why aren't you gone already? You didn't have to stay all night nor did i want you too. Get out."

She tried her best to still sound angry, but she was really very grateful. Usually she'd wake up on the floor after a night like that.

Iaemor didn't stir at the sound of the alarm, allowing his body to lean back and doze in the chair even if not really needed. Though he was woken not long after the alarm went off, by the sensation of something being ripped from his hand suddenly and Cairo's voice. Shaking his head briskly to wake up quickly he turned to look at the women in bed and smiled. Which was probably a slightly hilarious sight to see, Iaemor not yet having noticed his hair, and how sleeping in the chair seemed to have messed it up way further then one would expect.

"Normally people say thank you, but seeing as I am somewhat to blame, well it can slide." Iaemor anwsered, about to stand from the chair, only to notice how tight the leather of his pants seemed to be. Assuming it was down to spending the night in the company of a women he desired, but without the normally expected release. So instead he turned the chair slightly before getting up, so that his back would be to her, rather then let her see. She was wary enough of him as it was.

"I'll leave you be soon." Iaemor called over his shoulder, his gaze catching sight of himself in the window as he turned. "The fuck!" He added at seeing his hair bringing his hands up to try and rake his fingers through it to sort it out, and failing with how bad the hair was. Growling to himself and dragging his hand free, and cursing one more. Shifting his form to his demonic wing state, just to make his hair look slightly better due to its shorter lenght. Heading to her desk Iaemor quickly found a scrape piece of paper and pen writing on it, his phone number.

"I'll get out of your 'hair' then beuatiful, feel free to call from me any time." Iaemor said heading for the door opening it and going to leave. Only to forget he had shift and be jerked to a sudden halt in the door frame as his solid wings slammed against it on either side preventing him moving forwards and making him growl in annoyance once more.
