December 2020 Announcements
Long Time No Talk!
I think it goes without saying that 2020 has been a year. A lot of people on SA, both members and staff alike, have been affected by everything happening in the world. We've had lost jobs, evacuations, and illness, but the site's remained strong despite it.
Things have been slow, but I did want to take a moment to recognize the hard work of the staff. We've got a great team working through a really busy and stressful year, and I wanted to do a special thanks to the lore rangers, who've kept a steady supply of newspaper clippings that help expand the setting, and making it feel lived in.
Subscriptions
SA's been doing some back end transitions, such as updating our email accounts and making sure everything is up to date. As a result, all previous subscriptions were cancelled, and temporarily unavailable.
However, they're back now! You can find the information here for how subscriptions/account upgrades work. They're what help SA keep going.
Events
A yearly tradition, the Secret Santa signups are around right now! They'll be closing on the 10th, so make sure to sign up now.
You can also look forward to seeing more events moving forward, as @Kada has stepped up to lead events.
Odds and Ends
To free up some popular names, we've cleaned out some (very old) accounts. Players who have been gone for a year and made less than two posts have been scrubbed, and players who have been gone more than two years and made less than five posts have been as well. A lot of common one word names are now free once more.
