What's New
We apologize for not having an announcement up on the 1st of the month as we usually do — Kyros has been busy moving into their very first house! Thank you everyone for being so understanding.
New Merch Store
Yes yes yes, just in time for the holidays! If you want to help support the site and also get some cool stuff in return, this is the way to do it. Preorders are up now, so this is a good time to use that holiday money to get yourself (or someone else!) a belated Christmas present! Or, you know, just treat yourself!
We have stickersheets and charms available for preorder right now, but in the future we hope to have even more~

The Annual Zine
Thank you everyone for your wonderful submissions! If there are any corrections that need to be made, you will be notified in the upcoming days. The Zine is scheduled to be released on the New Year!
New Year Purge
With the New Year coming up, we want to encourage everybody to take a long hard look at their character lists and think about who they really want to have around. Are they important to other folks plots, but inactive? Consider making them an NPC! Have you not used them for a long time and don't really think you'll be using them in the near future? Then the archive is the best place!
Remember that at any time you can contact a staff member and have your character moved to a different category. We want our character forums to have an accurate depiction of the actual population of the site, and you guys can help by making sure that you only have important and active characters in the listings. The rest belong in the archives!
Companions Clarification
We've noticed some confusion about companions and how they work, so we just wanted to clarify for everyone so we are all on the same page: Please read this FAQ page to learn about what a Companion NPC actually is!

Right now we are working to fill out the yearly calendar with more in character holiday events! We would love to hear recommendations from you guys in this thread!
December Events
The Secret Santa signups are over, so please check out the Secret Santa Pairs thread to find out who your partner is! In the spirit of the holidays, we ask that everyone who signed up to please get your threads going soon so everyone can join the party <3
The Tree Lighting Ceremony has begun — have you designed an ornament yet?
You are cordially invited to Lady Helena Campbell's New Year's Celebration on December 31 at the Versailles Estate Ballroom located at the Residential Area. There will be food, music, and dancing for everyone who wishes to attend. At midnight, Lady Campbell will be unveiling her newest prized possession to the citizens of Manta Carlos.
The dress code is formal.
All are welcome!
The New Year's Party is a plot heavy In Character Cbox event starting December 31st and ending January 2nd. We hope everyone enjoys!
